Been working on this paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) for my Kitschy Kook mini show this Friday. More details to come, but I thought I’d share it with y’all. A little about the Paniolo history: the 6 heads of cattle given to king Kamehameha in the 17 hundreds had exploded in population in the cores of a decade and where causing havoc for the native species in Hawaii. Mexican and Spanish Californian cowboys who where working on ships where hired to bring the population under control.
