PANKISI GORGE, N.GEORGIA. Spent a couple of days with these extraordinary 'Kist' women in a remote mountain valley a few hours north of Tbilisi. They are part of now a very small population (just 8,000 left) of ethnic Chechens who have made the Pankisi gorge their home for the past two hundred years.
