With regards to vernet- provocatrixxx pointed out that Vernet might refer to the painting by Horace Vernet 'The Dog of the Regiment' looks an awful lot like John and Sherlock with Redbeard, down to the uniform John was wearing when he got shot!

doesn’t look like sherlock and john with redbeard to me at all (and provocatrixxx made no such claim) and i’m also sorry to say that john’s uniform was very different

1. the first scar i ever got was on my elbow from a high school piggyback race. 

2. every thanksgiving, i make the mozarella-tomato appetizer thing. last time we figured out that sprinkling garlic oil and oregano on it is a good decision.

baseball's a weird sport with weird fans, and it doesn't seem to have plans to stop. DO YOU WANT VISUAL AID? here's xander bogaerts, a wee baby at 21 years old and already being touted as the next big thing, but there are 162 games a season so he's bound to shit the bed at some point.

grady sizemore was theeeeee golden boy when he played for cleveland, but he hasn't played since, like, 2011? which is approximately 3 decades in baseball years. he's currently trying to star in his own schmaltzy comeback movie, and if it's 2 hours long, we're maybe at like the 45 minute mark?
