BAD ASS at the PAN PACIFIC AUDITORIUM. When I was 24, one of my best pals & amazing artist, Greg Clarke, and I wandered my favorite LA landmark building and did a photoshoot. Unfortunately the Pan Pacific Auditorium burned down in the 1989. #panpacificauditorium #panpacific #fairfax #fairfaxdistrict #garybaseman #baseman Photo by @greg_clarke The Pan Pacific was the home to the Auto Shows, Boat Shows, Ice Capades, Harlem Globetrotters played there. Elvis Presley played there in 1957. It was my favorite Art Deco building. I grew up a block away, and I credit it for much of my inspiration. The Pan Pacifica Auditorium was on EOF my favorite places. I use to go skating there in the mid 80's. Then the movie XANADU with Olivia Newton-John came out and I fell in love with the place all over again. #panpacificauditorium #love❤️ #xanadu #olivianewtonjohn #losangeles_city #losangelescalifornia
