Pansy Parkinson is just fine, thank you very much, finishing up her degree with her best friend and mostly-boyfriend and no, she is not thinking about a certain pair of dark brown eyes and making a total fool of herself in the process. Unfortunately, Pansy Parkinson’s year is about to go wildly off course.

After a (long) hiatus from fic writing, this popped into my head and I had to get it down. I guess my timing was right because it also happens to be the Pansmione week for the hpfemshipsweek that’s running this summer!

My writing is a little rusty but hopefully you’ll enjoy reading this fic just as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Hermione makes packed lunches for Pansy when she is going to have a busy day. Pansy whines to everyone about how her girlfriend makes her eat ‘like a peasant’ but will slap the hand of anyone who tries to remove anything from the lovingly prepared box.

Pansy insists Hermione dress up when they got out, but aside from those occasions has completely stopped caring about Hermione’s clothes the rest of the time. In fact, since Hermione brought them matching yoga pants she has begun to appreciate the myriad benefits of comfortable clothing.

Pansy is notoriously hard to buy for. Hermione initiated their first proper argument, by refusing to buy a birthday gift from Pansy’s ‘pre-approved present list’. A ritual she had adopted since she got some very lacklustre presents in her second year. The argument lasted for the whole four days leading up to Pansy’s party until she was presented with a muggle foot spa and homemade ‘love vouchers’. Pansy has never asked Hermione to buy from the list again.

Neither girl is known for having a steady, even temper  but both are most enraged when in defense of each other. When Pansy came home in tears after an argument with Astoria Greengrass she had to lock Hermione in a room to prevent her from taking out her wrath on the unsuspecting blonde.

Despite Pansy buying her over ten luxurious silk camisoles in beautiful colours, Hermione still insists on wearing ratty pajamas to bed. Pansy sighs bemoaning having a girlfriend with no appreciation for the finer things in life, and will never admit that she likes the way the soft cotton feels when she snuggles up next to her.
