Like fr, you guys are so united with the controversy called Rashta that she's basically an agent of discord and it's not her fault, a rock isn't to blame if it hits your face, it's who throws it, Rashta is exactly that rock, this is the most understandable way to describe her

Reminds me of the long running joke of Oikawa from Haikyuu being put and compared in the same category as mass murderers in anime villains 😭

God the hate that Rashta gets never gets old. Like seriously, she isn't calculating, she isn't evil, she isn't a villain. She was a child when she was sold to slavery and grew up with it being all she knows. She didn't even have a chance to live a normal life before ACCIDENTALY having to clash with royalty and her past hsunting her.

People think that she delibaretly waited there for Sovieshu to hunt when all of it has just been one big string of misunfortunste events of time and plsce.

I feel like the best case scenario —if we're following canon— is that instead of locking Rashta up, Sovi divorced Rashta and sent her to a convent. Glorym would deffinetly still stay with Sovi but i think Sovi is a good enough father to let Glorym visit Rashta from time to time

I have waited years for someone to ask me this.

So first of all. I guess i have to say i never really dislike or hated Rashta, i never really disliked anyone in TRE in fact. I just kinda accepted that it was their role in the story ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And well when i paused reading webtoons as a whole i didn't had anyone or any place to rant about manhwas so that aspect really made me wonder why everyone hated Rashta so much. And that was how i fell, i started feeling pitty for Rashta but she was never my fav chara. She was still just a character in my eyes.

Okay since the backstory is done, let's get to the real stuff :

Rashta is my fav chara mostly because i admire and respect her. I think she's a really strong girl for having trough such misfortune at such an early age (+ it being caused by someone close to her) but still finding the courage to keep on living another day.

And i like how her character is written! As a fan, i can't help but want the best for her yet in any storyline or AUs where Rashta is suffering just makes such an intresting story. She evokes emotions fron readers, whether it's anger, pitty, or frustration. And that's an important thing for a story, to have your story brings out diffrent emotions, that's why TRE won't be complete without her.

And this is more on a personal note, but i have met and bonded with some of the best people that i have been honored to call friend (and mom) trough Rashta. So... Thinking about her, makes me think of them, which makes me happy! And thinking of them, makes me think of Rashta, which also makes me happy!

There's just that emotional attachment and comfort that i have associated with Rashta for a while now. And i love her, truly.

how does it feel to be engulfed in a spur of lavenders? what do they smell like?

you play with the small strands of your hair. twirling them in your fingers in an almost neverending loop, as you keep scrolling on your phone.

lavender is, technically, a sedative. a drug. it helps to soothe and relax your senses and body. before you know it, you might fall into a deep slumber.

you keep on scrolling, until you feel someone wrap their arms around your waist. those arms are small, but good heavens know that they're strong as a whip. you feel your body tingle, like a sensitive stop in you is being stimulated. thereof, you can't help the smile on your lips.

"goodmorning, shouko." you murmured softly, and your wife sighs in response. the bed creaks as she sits up to put her chin on your shoulder. her long purple hair frames both of your bodies delicately. you giggle at the contact and lean to her touch. both of your cheeks made accidental contact, and the instant blush on komi's face makes that little heart inside of you thump.

then you smelled it.

lavenders.

it's so floral but at the same time so.. forest-like. it's a perfect mix. it's so, so relaxing. you can't get enough of it.

you might just fall asleep yourself.

you pulled komi to your embrace, inhaling the exhilarating scent of lavenders to your heart's content. and her presence, as well.
