Panthalasa
So, the campaign now has a name (and we are up to session four tonight! *screams*)
I have been really busy lately trying to figure out how to run a campaign, trying to keep it interesting but not deadly and making sure that the players get enough xp to be at a level where things are able to be more interesting than just bandits.
I have five players all with very interesting and diverse characters, it’s going to be interesting trying to make the adventures relevant for all the characters and stop them wanting to wander off after the conclusion of the first arc of this campaign.
Player Characters;
Jareth Aximili Alloran Elfangor Persistence Sinclair - a human fighter, the youngest child of Lady Crysania and Strum Sinclair - was pretty much ignored his entire life (he’s about 18?) given a good education but not going to inherit anything unless his four older siblings die. Jareth pretty much wants to prove that he can be amazing at something.
Aramil and Enialis Galanodel - Elvish Monk and Druid respectively - The elvish brothers are really amusing. They both have the folk hero background and have done good deeds all over Erathis and have made a bit of a name for themselves, they are headed to Moradin to try do more good deeds in a new location. My favorite thing about these two is one is actually a dwarf, but they legitimately believe themselves to be brothers and become highly offended when people point out that one of them is clearly a dwarf.
Zola - Goliath rogue/sorcerer - The son of a Goliath mother and a storm giant father, was smuggled from the Goliath village at age eight because he was in danger when his parentage was found out, has a natural affinity for storm magics.
Nostok Emberback - Duregar Cleric of Osiris - Nostok is an ex-adventurer who was pulled out of retirement and away from the bottle by Zola’s mother, a member of his old adventuring party, when she asked for his assistance in smuggling her son away from the Goliaths. The crook and flail being the symbol of His deity, Nostok fights with a flail, even though he is rather out of practice (i.e not proficient). He likes to tell stories of his old adventures and often rambles on much to the despair of his new companions.
So, these are the player characters in Panthalasa. It’s been three weeks and they are still alive, if a bit singed...
