A crow could be heard as Neverland began to thaw. Someone was back.

     As ice split and his ship swayed in the thawing Neversea, there was suddenly a toss of dark curls as the Jolly Roger’s captain abruptly sat up in his bed. Whether it was the oh so familiar crow or the movement of the ship, he was not certain, but it made little difference. The fact of the matter was- which was shortly fully proven as the pirate opened a window and looked to sky to find a shadow followed by a ball of light -he was back. The window was shortly closed again, and within a few minutes, Hook was fully awake, dressed in his usual attire, and on deck.

Oh but that shadow, that puckish shadow sought out the boy of light while his owner was distracted, zooming after him. The light was the shadow's opposite after all. Where one might think it would find weakness, it grew stronger in the presence of the spectral boy. Fluttering around like a sheer fabric it curled about him, daring him to a race.

Nightlight snickered knowing all too well that shadow. The mischief and playfulness of the friendly shadow ever a nice thing to see on some nights. Especially after long battles with fearlings.

It was nice to be reminded that not all shadows were bad.

He grinned nodding once. This boy who had no shadow would gladly race a wayward one.

(( I think, any thread that I owe over a month or that is currently on hiatus, I might drop. Because no matter how many times I look at them, I can't find the muse to reply. 

I'm really sorry about doing it, but at the same time, I don't want to leave you hanging and waiting forever for a reply that's not going to happen.

i don't know if they are active anymore but i liked the threads between jack and peter because they are my two favorite characters and i liked how they interacted.

(( She’s on and off…but she’s currently active on omnipotentmoon but yeah, I miss her on that account too ;w;
