She lingers for a moment, before finally urging herself forward and entering the space. Once it was declared that now was a perfectly good time, Hel visibly relaxes, shoulders no longer tense like they usually are.

She is the goddess of death, life and death hangs in the balance of her dainty fingers and she gets lonely?! It's sometimes a disgusting feeling, one that reminds her of something mortal and weak. Other times, Hela wants nothing more than to feel mortal, to allow her feelings to come flooding in. If there was anyone she could receive comfort from, no one did it better like her mother.

The giantess offered her daughter the wooden chair next to her. It was pleasant to see her child still needed her COMFORT and presence, and she would always try to ease her concerns. It reminded her of the old days when Hela was nothing but a little infant, crawling and babbling.

"When you were little" She started, "You were afraid of thunderstorms, your father would play with his magic to keep you distracted...but when he was away, you would come to my bed, and you would make me sing the same lullaby all the time "

Then again, regardless of if Rhaenyra had been a man or a woman, this would make herself Queen one day and that had been all her father ever wanted for her. She did love the Princess, she was her dearest friend but she did also have worries over how the rest of the seven kingdoms would take the announcement.  “I suppose now I can’t refuse your wants for me to ride a dragon with you?” She offered a faint smile, if the king and her father allowed this, then who was she to say no.
