Pantnagar is positioned in Udham Singh Nagar district, Uttarakhand. Pantnagar is a small city with a mixture of industrial regions and college campuses.
Earlier, Pantnagar was part of Uttar Pradesh. It has become a part of Uttarakhand, (which is situated in the northern division of India) after 9 November 2000. Pantnagar is famed as it’s the home of the first agriculture university of India.
