Hello, Tiffany's!
While working in NYC this week, I visited the Holy Grail of Diamonds - the Tiffany Flagship store on 5th Avenue. Of course, Cartier and Harry Winston are all on the same block so pick your favorite. Mine happens to be Tiffany's.
This lovely gentleman in his Tiffany blue scarf and handkerchief is a greeter of sorts. I spoke with him briefly and he informed me that he is not an employee of Tiffany's, but rather is model who is hired by an agency. His job is to stand in front of the store, look pretty, and smile warmly, making customers feel at ease when entering the store.
He informed me that Tiffany's did indeed purchase the scarf and handkerchief for him.
The store is 5 floors, with a dedicated floor for engagement, silver, and gifts. The first floor had a selection of everything, and the top floor was customer service and repairs. After looking at the Tiffany Diamond on the first floor, we proceeded to the engagement ring floor where I looked at all the pretty stuffs, and tried on a 4.23 carat, D color, VVS2 solitaire engagement ring. The price was $511,000. I did not take a picture.
Happy Holidays! (Already?)
I hope you find what you want under or on your tree.
