Philosophical panvitalism

Philosophical panvitalism is the view and belief that all things are a part of a single living Universe and that all things that are in the Universe are alive. People have good reasons for existential beliefs and views. Viewing the Universe as a alive helps people cope with daily life in a evolving Universe that is within and totally beyond human understanding. If the Universe itself is alive, then we are all alive. If the Universe itself is dead, then we are all dead machines. Either way life is too short not to view the Universe as a alive when there are psychological benefits for people trying cope with daily life. 

Universe itself is all there is that is alive. Everything in the Universe is a alive and the Universe itself as a whole is evolving and alive. Wild plants are alive. People are alive. Domesticated animals are alive. Wild animals are alive. Clouds are alive. Crops are alive. Water is alive. Rivers are alive. Lakes are alive. Oceans are alive. Winds are alive. Cities are alive. Stars are alive. Earth just one insignificant planet of billions of other living planets is alive. Moons orbiting the living planets are alive. Galaxies are alive. Soil as a complex system is alive. Storms and hurricanes are alive. Universe itself is viewed philosophically as a living complex organism as a whole. Ancient Greek and Roman philosophers thought that the Universe as a whole is an intelligent living organism. Most people alive today in the 21st century living in industrial nations view the Universe as dead, which is a result of a mechanistic, static and industrial way of viewing the Universe. Philosophical panvitalism holds that the Universe as the totality of existence is alive which is the opposite to viewing the Universe as the totality of existence as a dead machine. If the Universe itself is alive, then we are all a part and are all alive in the living Universe as a evolving complex whole. Universe itself is a living organism which is always constantly changing as a dynamic living system.

Universe is the totality of existence, existence that has always ever been, existence that will always ever be and existence that is always alive as a dynamic whole. If the Universe itself is alive, then the totality of the Universe is alive. Existence that has always ever been was alive, existence that will always be will always be alive and  existence that is always alive as a dynamic whole. Universe is single living organism and constantly changing and yet at the same time always the same. Past, present and future are actually one in the process movement as time does not actually exist and the Universe as a whole is alive and evolving. Universe is not mechanistic but evolving and the Universe itself is alive. Universe itself is all there is there that is alive. Universe itself is greater than the sum of its living parts and the Universe itself is all there will ever will be to us insignificant humans in and a part of the Universe that is itself is all there is that is alive. Universe is within and the totally beyond as the totality of existence that is alive. Logos is the order of the Universe that makes all things in the Universe itself alive. Universe itself is a tree. We are all born under and die under the same tree (reality). Universe itself is a tree of life that is all there is that is alive.

Universe itself became a self regulating living system. Universe is a living self ordering and regulating system which is expanding and constantly changing but where the amount of energy is always same. Energy is neither created nor destroyed but always constantly transforming. Galaxies that we observe are millions of years old. Light takes a very long time to reach us here on Earth. When we look at galaxies with telescopes we are actually looking at them in the past millions of years long ago before own galaxy was formed. A galaxy which is roughly 18 million light years away is roughly seen as that galaxy was 18 million years ago giving us here on Earth a window into the past as the Universe evolves and changes as a self regulating living system. More we look back as the Universe evolves the more the galaxies get simpler. As the Universe evolves as a dynamic living system the galaxies get more complex. Our own galaxy the Milky Way is more complex than previous galaxies. Universe is evolving and so the Universe itself is a living organism as it expands and constantly changes. All things are a part of and are in the living Universe as it self regulates itself. All things in the Universe are a alive as the Universe evolves as a living system. Universe as a whole is not fixed. Stars, planets, solar systems, galaxies, trees, people and other animals, rocks, cultures and cities are constantly changing. Our own Sun a yellow dwarf star that powers all life on Earth is a alive and changing.

Overconsumption has major negative impacts not just on the planetary systems but also on society as a whole. There is so much plastic trash made by humans that enters the oceans and pollutes the rivers. Humans are a part of the living self regulating Earth system. What humans do on the planet has major impacts both positive and negative on other spheres of the living self regulating Earth system. Earth can survive but human society will not if the current population continues to grow, damaging and going beyond the planetary life support systems. Even if the human population peaks, then there are still too many people living on the planet. There are already too many people living on the planet consuming and polluting the living system. Such overconsumption can result when people have mechanistic views. When people have panvitualistc views, then basic everyday decisions of the collective are based on needs and survival. Basic daily decisions of the collective are not based and made on greed for useless plastic junk which has no need for the average person who does not need the plastic junk. 

Human activities on the planet have negative impacts on the Earth’s biodiversity which can be damaging to society and the planet as whole. Humans are decreasing the Earth’s biodiversity as the human population expands to take up space and when human agricultural practices destroy habits where other species live on the planet. Human activities alter the global climate, destroy ecosystems and erode the fertile soil. Agricultural activities especially monoculture can decrease the Earth’s biodiversity. Earth’s biosphere can be severely altered and damaged by human activities that have longstanding impacts on global society. Earth’s genetic variation among the Earth’s species is lost to poor agricultural practices. When agricultural practices are poor and inefficient there is a loss of genetic variation of both plants and animals. Genetic variation of both plants and animals on the planet is needed for the agricultural production of food to feed the billions of people living on the planet. Loss of biodiversity leaves crops more vulnerable to new diseases that threaten global food security. More people viewing the Universe as a alive can help both biodiversity and agriculture in that there is greater efficiency among the masses of people. Protecting the Earth’s biodiversity is essential for the survival of future generations and for the good of the living planet as a whole. Viewing the Universe as a alive allows for people to make better decisions and live more efficient lifestyles. Efficient lifestyles adopted by people that can help them.

Perhaps humans are the Universe’s way of working to spread biological life to other living planets. There are currently 7 billion people on the planet. More people there are on the planet the more natural resources that are used. More people there are on the planet the more there will be problems. Humans alter systems and there are already too many humans living on the planet. Population could peak but nobody really knows. Even if the population does peak, then there are still too many humans living on the planet. Viewing the Universe as a alive allows for greater social efficiency and less pollution as people focus on more important aspects of their lives such as family and work instead on material junk products that damage the environment. Efficiency in electrical and agricultural systems can also be increased with social engineering. When the masses of people view the Universe as a alive there is greater efficiency. Viewing the Universe as a alive not only helps people cope psychologically with an ever evolving Universe. If more people living on the planet were socially engineered to view the Universe as a alive and were socially engineered to become more efficient in their lifestyles, then more individuals would help society and the planet as a whole. People can be socially engineered to view the Universe as a alive. Such social engineering would benefit both society and the ecosystem.

Universe itself is all there is that is alive. We are a living part of the living Universe as a whole and must follow the order of the living Universe for our own survival. If we help the Universe, then the Universe helps us. If we don’t help the Universe, then the Universe does not help us. Universe provides for us to survive and to contemplate the Universe. Living Universe itself is greater than the sum of its living parts. We must connect with the living Universe to survive the challenges that the Universe strikes us with in daily life. Global society is faced many complicated problems such as conflicts, food security, agricultural practices, environmental and economic problems that have complicated impacts on society. Such global complicated problems have no clear yes or no answers to address them. Our lifestyles and views must change to address such problems that don’t always have clear cut solutions. Moving the global society away from mechanistic views to panvitualistc views would lead to greater efficiency. Greater efficiency which would reduce the impacts that humans have on the planet. Greater efficiency in the global food system as a result of panvitualistc views being applied by individuals would also allow for more than enough food to be grown for everyone on the planet. Inefficiency must be overcome for the planet.
