Waiting outside the school in the car that Pepper made him bring despite his efforts to bring the R8. Let's be real, what kid got picked up from school in an Audi R8 and wasn't top dog on campus? 

But Pepper was the one who humbled him, and it was better for their daughter. 

When he looked up again, he saw his daughter, a smile on her face as she ran towards him with her little backpack jostling around on her back. "There's my girl!" He smiled and swept her up off her feet and into the air, making her giggle. "How was school, baby girl?"

Natasha walked into Pepper's office, covered in what was now dried green goo. Her face was slightly contorted in irritation. "Do you know where Stark is? I've been looking for him everywhere. I need to kill him."

Pepper had gone through a lot since she was with Tony.. threat was imminent and she always knew there was always the chance something could happen to either one or both of them. However, she never thought that day was today. The attackers made their way into the home, making sure there was no way out, no one was getting out alive. However, it wasn't until she heard the shots when she cried out. The suits attacked the intruders, but she was too late. "Tony, Tony, wake up. Please don't leave me."

Tony hated getting sick simply because it make it difficult to work.  Before he’d started dating Pepper he got weird and a little rude when she was sick.  Now that they were dating and living together, things were different.  He’d heard the signs that she’d been getting sick the last day or so.  She was sniffling and she’d started coughing.  He wasn’t extremely surprised when she woke him up coughing.

“Honey,” he said gently.  "Get back in bed.  You’re too sick to go to work.“  He rolled out of bed and rubbed his face.  "I’m serious, Pep. You. Bed. Now.” He went over and guided her back to bed despite her weak protests. “Stay here,” he said putting a kiss on her very warm forehead. He went to the bathroom and grabbed some cold medicine and a glass of water. He sat down next to her. “Okay, sit up and take this.” He helped her a little then helped her lay back down pulling the covers up when she was settled.

Tony smoothed her hair back. “I’ll call your assistant as soon as it’s time. Do you want breakfast or are you going to sleep some more?”
