Hiatus Announcement

So.

Elephant in the room is that i have not been active. And I really dont think its anyones fault other than mine in a way. I just feel as though the supernatural community has... moved on? Is that a fair statement? Same with Pepper's place in the MCU now that Tony and Pepper have been basically written off as their tenure has ended.

I'm still writing, just not here as much.

I still do want to write, but nothing seems to be active. In any case, that does not mean i will ignore requests to write, so if anyone wants a hit of nostalgia RPing in these dying fandoms, i am here for it.

But for now, find me here! I write gin in pretty much any good fandom that's out there still.

Gin's eyes left him for the first time since their introduction, looking at her partially full glass and she gave it a small swirl with a twist of her wrist. You could taste it and find out, the thought made her blush lightly. The heat below her cheeks was hotter than what surfaced over her skin.

"Weak." She chuckled, looking back at him with just her eyes first. "I had higher hopes for a buzz."

His eyes widened but the rest of his face betrayed that he had any sort of reaction to her gaze. Loki found it more than interesting that she was the first to break eye contact.

The god paused thoughtfully, blinking a few more times than he cared for. "Should we change that?" He smiled, turning on his full charm.

She fell for it and wasn't nearly as surprised as she would be if she were completely sober. "I think we should." A tinge of pride widened her smirk, and a wild look glimmered in her eyes.

She was ready for anything. But that still didn't mean her guard was down; what were the actual chances of running into a real god? She knew he wasn't a demon or an angel; he looked human enough. And if she walked around this planet as if everything was a monster, she'd surely go insane.

Gin thought about her answer, looking away for a moment then shrugging. "Depends on the night... Depends on the drink..." She trailed off and looked at him again. "Depends on the company."

Usually it wasn't something that got out of control, but she wasn't a stranger to most nefarious activities that involved alcohol, whether it be blue lights or not.

Loki blinked slowly, thinking about her answer. "Fair enough." He felt that his answer was far too simple compared to Gin's.

"And what is your drink tonight?" He wondered if this came across but he was also doing his best to ask 'what would you drink in my company?'

"I don't care much for gin either." He agreed, doing his best not to twist his face in displeasure. Perhaps it was gin alone, or whatever he had combined it with last..

Looking away once more, he tilted his chin up in silent thanks as his wine came shortly after. "Oh? What sort trouble are you known to find yourself in, after a drink?"

It was easy for him to grin right back at her, to do his best to charm this nameless woman. "Your name and your drink of choice?"

Loki looked up, making eye contact with the bartender. He ordered himself a glass of red wine before answering the woman he sat next to at the bar, "Loki."

Hello y'all my periodic check in post here.

I am on chapter 15, not much further than I was before. I can blame the stress from work killing my creativity. Good news, I am setting stronger boundaries at work to allow myself not to be so burnt out that I cant do the things I enjoy.

That part is going... okay I guess. Time will tell.

I did get a new home work station, though. Not for actual work, but to write.

I treated myself to a nice monitor, desk pad and a very nice keyboard. I got a Keychron Gateon(?) Jupiter swtich, so its nice and creamy and delish.

I'm sure there are nicer ones out there, but, without going overboard i liked this one the best.

Its better than typing on my laptop fer sher.

Anyway, (if you celebrate) happy thanksgiving, and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend/holiday.

Hi Everyone!

Just my periodic check in. I stay signed in almost all the time, just seeing how things are out here.

I'm still writing my novel, on chapter 12 now c:

I've pickd up some new books to read.

Work still sucks, so I try to find any kind of enjoyment in the little bit of time I have to myself before I have to make dinner, go to bed etc. Which isn't much time....

I hope you all are well, and please dont be a stranger <3 I miss all of my writing partners dearly
