Happy Workshop Wednesday.

This week was about making lattices for my indoor Bougainvillea, AKA Paper flower plant.

We have a neighbor trying to clear some invasive bamboo growing in the ground, and they've been kind enough to let me snag a few stalks.

I'm just happy I got these before the snow fell.

I'm also testing out growing English ivy indoors because no one can have too many plants. Just be careful with both these vines as they are known to be toxic to animals when ingested.

The author said, "Somebody on the Internet thinks what you do is stupid or evil or it's all been done before? Make good art." So if the same author made an insultingly tone deaf comeback post, make good art, right? 🤷‍♀️

🌸 The flowers I make go to my friends and family members. If given permission, I would like to give them as well to local clinics, places of worship, and cemeteries.

🌸 This is my way of letting physical books written by this author go. I do not want to keep them. I can't even look at them on my bookshelf anymore without having negative feelings. But I also don't want to donate or gift them as they are. And I could never burn a book. So I make them into paper flowers and give them away in that form.

🌸 If you disagree, please just move on. I don't have the time nor the inclination to argue with you.
