Paper snowflakes featuring Noelle's shurakins bronzed paper snowflakes and the Roaring Knight

Dec 16 2025 update: I made these templates by editing photos of my snowflakes, so they aren't perfect (it's hard to fold a paper into sixths the exact same way each time). So they might need to be adjusted to fit your paper triangle to account for any variations in folding.

Also, I realized when cutting out the jingle bells that I should punch holes before cutting out larger bits of paper since it's tricky to hole punch smaller, floppier paper shapes.

DC Paper Snowflakes Instructions

Hey everyone,

Some of you asked for me to show you how I made the snowflakes so here is the step by step:

All snowflakes start out with these steps:

Cut a square then fold in half diagonally

2. Fold that in half

3. Fold in half one more time

Batman: cut out all the gray

Wonder Woman: cut out all the grey, there will be the middle part of the w that you can’t cut from an end, so you’ll either have to stab a pen or something through the paper delicately, stab delicately with scissors to make a hole that you can than cut larger, or make a really tiny fold in the middle of the w.

Superman: now this is where it gets hard, the Superman symbol is not symmetrical so you have to half it when making the snowflake

Cut out the grey

2. Unfold

3. Sketch out the Superman symbol and cut out the grey

4. You can cut along the fold where the dashes are to make a big enough cut to start; where the dots are you have to stab through to make a hole that you can than cut around to get bigger
