Life is art, you are the canvas and anyone you encounter is the artist.
this is so deep, thank you for questioning the nature of reality
Forgive my ignorance but is Compton really what they say it is?
EDIT: You don’t need to feel badly for not knowing about Compton. I assume you’re not from there, so I have zero problems with you asking. :) I appreciate the fact that you’re trying to learn more about it.
In my opinion, no not at all.
See, what most people know about Compton is information that started circulating in the 80s and 90s. Back then, Compton was a rough place.
I grew up in a really chill part of Compton called Richland Farms. The lots were huge, and people actually kept like horses and livestock. NPR just released an article about Compton’s cowboys actually. That’s off topic though.
In reality, Compton has like maybe a couple of incidents, but most of the time you’ll actually hear about stuff happening in South Central and Watts. Everywhere has sketch areas, but overall Compton is laid back. The city is actually doing a lot to improve itself and shed the reputation it got 20-30 years ago.
Unless you’re one of the people who like to take pictures in front of the “Welcome To Compton” sign to look hard, and then immediately turn around to leave. We don’t like those people.
