Welcome Basket Recruitment

Every few months I try to update the names on the Strange Magic Welcome Basket and make a new post for it. (The current one is the fourth or fifth version depending on how you count the original list, which was posted by someone else.) 

However, every time I make a new list, I get a bunch of reminders of people I forgot. This is great, because I can add even more people, but also means that the first few people who reblog the new Welcome Basket get an incomplete list. 

I know we’ve got a few new and returning fans who I invite to contact me if they want to be on the list ( @paperfrays, @i-will-bite-you, @darklythroughtheforest, and @xnolights have all made things for the tag recently but aren’t in the basket yet), and there are a few people on FFnet that I plan to invite who don’t seem to be on tumblr. Tumblr doesn’t always let links to other sites stay functional, even if they’re typed correctly, but a username should allow manual searching if the links go belly-up. 

So please, if you are somebody or know somebody you think ought to be added to the Strange Magic Fandom Welcome Basket, send me a name! 

(If you’re already in the Welcome Basket, or being invited to it, but don’t want to be there for any reason, let me know; but be aware I will only take “remove/don’t add this person” requests from the person whose name would be left out.) 

EDIT: I should also add that the next Basket won’t be up for at least a month - it’ll be either posted in December for Christmas or January for the movie’s anniversary.

And process. It took a while to get the poses right, plus the shading because I’m impatient but also trying new techniques I’ve learned from some life drawings (lots of timed refs of people posing on YouTube, check them out!).

I grew tired of all the shading haha but it’s pretty enough for me, but also not quite. Maybe I’ll get back to this with fresh eyes, give better definition on the lines, and maybe color in the sword.

I feel like I underestimated Phoenix Wright all these years. I admire his character and his story but his Apollo Justice story was underrated.

Dude was debarred, chilled for some years on probation, took down the evil haunting their legal system, BUT THAT GUY TOOK THE BAR EXAM AGAIN WHEN HE DID AND PASSED THAT MOTHER-EFFER LIKE DUDES

Write about a chill, slice-of-life, peaceful kind of romance when all you have experience with is conditional romance, mind games, and manipulation 😓

Gimme some creativity juice, pls. I wanna do my passion project already but my self-correction, and overthinking, and perfectionism is always halting me as early as the conceptualisation stage ugh
