For my artist’s challenge from @elder_hq and their #campaign to #endbedblocking I have decided to take a #positive approach and I am creating a “Bed of Roses”. In my view this is what discharge from hospital should be, with patients able to be cared for and recover in the comfort of their own home. I have chosen a bed that is reminiscent of a Victorian hospital bed, and will be creating white paper roses to twist and weave their way through it. The minute Myde heard his little sister’s voice in the magic shell he now wore around his neck, he knew something was wrong.  He’d jetted up to the surface as fast as he could.  He couldn’t stand the sound of her tears.

Myde’s arms were around Naminé before her legs even fused.  “Ssh….” he whispered into her hair, trying to console her.  He hadn’t been able to understand a word through her tears this whole time, and he had no idea what was going on.  Her hysteria was enough.  “It’s okay… you’re okay.  You’re safe.  As long as you’re with me, you’re safe.  I promise."
