One day a friend said to me “you have a gift for finding really weird stuff”. I wonder why it took so long for me to find about this creepy comic called “PaperUgo”. It started as a drawing by https://batawp.deviantart.com/ and it ended as a comic series. Well, the first comic follow the story of Fethry’s “actor”, Paperugo, who suffers from severe depression. The art is creepy, dark and haunting. I’m intrigued by what motivated the authors to choose Fethry... Maybe to create a contrast between the happy character and the depression? Or maybe to say that anyone can be depressed inside?
I’m wondering what the heck Fethry has in his characterization that makes him so relatable to people that... Err, aren’t quite in their right minds...?
