Tootsie in Paris … **** 30x40 acrylic & oil on canvas **** This painting came out of the archives… Tootsie skipped over the rainbow bridge about 3 years ago… She was quite a love … my first dog Ever ! So many cute stories about her but one in particular stands out…she would always bark and growl when coming upon another dog…OMG … I would get so frustrated and really nervous to let her get to close for fear she would give them a nip ! So, I proceeded to call a trainer ( highly recommended) He had us meet in the center of Town where there are always many dogs walking with there owners .. “Yikes! “ I thought … just wait till he sees her growling and barking… We’ll guess what … not a peep! She walked past the other dogs and never even looked at them … I could not believe it … well the owner said it was more then likely our fault … she evidently felt our jitters and barked all the more … The trainer had the leash …btw … Eventually she outgrew her misbehavior … she was 17 years old when she passed … we thought we’d never get another fur baby but guess what … along came Mickey ..same breed ( papillion) We felt so lost without a dog .. I think it was about 3 months . ..we then realized what a void it was … Roosevelt said “ If you want a good friend, get a dog” No truer words! *** #papillion #papillionsofinstagram #paris #paintingoftheday #oilpainting #decorateyourhome #interiordecor #artonline #artistsupportartists https://www.instagram.com/p/CkblAxTuZwI/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
