I Don't Want to Return Alone || Garret and Flit
Garret stared out his window in his room. Though he couldn’t see anything he felt that he could see the events of earlier that day play on front of his eyes. That...Flit kid who kissed him was the main reason that he remained silent even as Ayden pushed at him slowly. She was tired of being inside and wanted to go outside. Garret though wanted to stay in his room and never leave. Though was clearly out of question once she started to whine. Reaching down, Garret grabbed ahold of Ayden and together they made their way outside. Once he felt grass under his shoes, Garret let go of her and let her go off by herself while he snapped the cane out and used that to navigate around outside. It did not take long for Ayden to come back and sit next him. He could feel her look up at him, giving him permission to go look around. As much as he hated to admit it, Garret knew he needed to just look around if not to distract himself from the events of earlier that day.
Walking back inside, Garret started to remember the places he had been and the areas in his head that were missing at least a walk through. Reluctantly he held onto to Ayden and held the cane out in front of him looking for any stairs. As they went through the building, soft music was playing. Curious Garret started to follow the noise. He let go of Ayden and touched the wall to navigate himself through the place, looking for doors now. “Where are you” he mumbled until he felt the music through the door. “There you are, he said quietly, listening inside to see if someone was inside. The music changed and Garret decided to just play the blind card if he was asked what he was doing there. Sliding in he stayed closed to the wall and turned his ear towards the music to hear what was going on better. He could hear feet on the ground moving to the music. He became curious as to who was there when nothing came to his mind right away. Closing his eyes, Garret listened to the person move while the music became background to the movement.
