The sun glistened through Hadley's averagely sized bedroom window, it was hot against her slightly more cooled than usual skin. Her eyes quickly flickered open and already she had an intense migraine that hit her like a ton of bricks, it all felt too irregular. Standing up from her bed her vision was more crystal clear than ever before, her balance was a lot more steadier and her skin looked healthier - now, unless wolves had became a more superior race and gotten all these extra perks - she had somehow turned into a vampire. It was evident that the second explanation was a lot more believable than the first, before she could think any more irrational thoughts her jaw had a seething pain shooting through it, it felt like a new set of teeth - and to Hadley's dismay, it was, oh brilliant she thought to herself, "Just what I wanted" she muttered huskily under her breath. Trying to comment when you have two fangs ripping through your gum isn't really the best of ideas.
The anger she was feeling right now was out of this world and she couldn't put it into words how torturous this whole thing felt. Making her way into the bathroom she scoured high and low for aspirin or a hammer, either of the two would make her situation slightly less painful. Once the pain in her jaw had stopped - or for the time being it had stopped - she heard a loud ringing noise coming from the other room, it was either an explosion or a cat screeching into a microphone. As she made her way from the bathroom and into the living room, Hadley gave a rundown sigh, to her surprise it was her cellphone, clearly this whole being a vampire thing affected her hearing. "Wonderful." She grunted under her breath and picked up the phone off the table - without her realising what she was doing Hadley threw the phone at great force off the wall, causing it to smash into millions of pieces. She never even reacted, all she did was look at it and rub her temples, the headache was back again then. Was this her hunger kicking in? Only time could tell.
Without any kind of warning, the seething pain in her jaw was back in a flash. She had to feed, she just had to. Obviously she couldn't just walk in and feed on Hayley or Ellie, as much as she desired to at this moment in time. She would probably hate herself after it.
Walking out of the apartment in just a skimpy vest top and a pair of black baggy sweats and her favourite fluffy socks Hadley was practically crawling down the street, she had to get blood, she had to dig her teeth into someones neck and feel their warm and delicious, silk like blood slip down her neck like a strawberry smoothie. Even the thought of it brought out Hadley's fangs, she panicked and quickly got them to vanish. As she continued to drag herself along past The Grill and the florists she could suddenly smell something so sweet and scrumptious - either a blood bag has burst in an experienced vampire's bag or someone's injured.
Hadley's paced quickened and she followed the scent to it's source. It was a god send, down a little alley there was a gang fight, someone had gotten stabbed, if this wasn't heaven - Hadley didn't know what was. She turned on her undeniable charm and made her way over to the quivering young black haired boy. "Hi there." She tilted her head and flashed him an alluring smile.
"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. I just need to borrow you for a few minutes, is that okay?" As much as she sounded like a stripper or a hooker, the boy just nodded and wrapped his hands around his bleeding torso more. Hadley crouched down and sat beside him, she moved her hair to one said and got closer to the now very confused boy. "I.. just need.." she began her sentence promising, but the end result wasn't going to be a very happy one.
She slid her finger over his wrist, as it was covered in some of his blood, Hadley then proceeded to lick her finger. The taste was overwhelming and very satisfactory. She leaned forward and noticed the boy giving her a confused and disturbed look. As she moved closer she made a go for his neck. Her teeth sank into the pale skin and the blood began to smoothly slid down her throat, this was everything she expected and more. It tasted like her favourite candy mixed in with every alcoholic beverage she liked mixed into one delicious smoothie like texture.
As the blood kept coming, the boy's life was slipping away from him ever so quickly. Hadley's grip on the boy's neck lightened a little as she realised that she had drained him within five minutes. Standing up and noticing that her socks were covered in trashy blood she enjoyed only five seconds ago, an overwhelming sense of guilt rushed over Hadley and she began to run back to her apartment.
By the time she reached her bedroom she was shaking and no one had even noticed she had left. Hadley was left shaking on her bed, the blood stained onto her hands. Here's hoping that tomorrow was back to normal and she was wolf once again.
