Food is good || Daniel and Isobel
Isobel had quickly grabbed her backpack as she saw the text Daniel had sent her. He would be in the student center in a few minutes. Luckily, Isobel never really needed much time to get ready for something. Not for school, not for something like this. Isobel just had to put her hair in a ponytail, put on her jacket and get in her shoes. Isobel wasn’t really the type of girl who would dress up for something. And definitely not just dinner with a friend. Isobel took her keys and walked out of her dorm. It was small, but it was big enough for her. Even though usually her dorm was pretty neat, now her running clothes were all over the floor and some of her books on her bed. She tried to go out for a run at least one time a day. Usually twice a day. She hated not running. It was this thing she loved and she couldn’t really go without it. It made her feel better, happier.
As Isobel jogged down the stairs and walked over to the student center, she realized that perhaps Daniel didn’t even want to go with her, for food. But then again, he did say that he wanted to go with her. Not in those words, but it came down to that. He was nice, unlike most of the guys here he didn’t tell her that it was ‘hot’ when a girl played football, or asked her if she ‘secretly was a guy’. That was nice. She barely spoke to anyone who wasn’t surprised by the fact that she liked so many things that girls usually didn’t like. She never really talked to Daniel about it, but he didn’t seem like the guy who would say something that would be offensive. When she arrived, she noticed someone else arriving as well. A smile appeared on her face as she approached the guy. “Hey.” Isobel said as she smiled.
