The smell of Christmas was in the air. Cookies baking and the fresh Christmas air. Last night Freya and Alyssa had left the window open just to get the smell of Christmas to set into their room. Yeah it was almost freezing but it was worth it. Freya smiled as she awoke with her teddy bear in her arms. She rolled out of bed and stretched, grabbing her bear and stuffing it under her pillow. Mimi was still a secret and would always be a secret. Freya went to her dresser or get her outfit for the day. She was careful not to wake up her best friend that was in the other bed. Freya looked outside of the open window and smile. All Freya could feel was happiness and excitement right now. The brunette shuffled out of the room closing the door behind her, to shut off some of the noise in attempt to keep her best friend in a sleeping beauty type state. Freya went into the bathroom, undressed, and began to shower. It only took her about thirty minutes to shower then she stepped out and dried herself off. Freya changed into her outfit which was a plain blue tank top then she put a cozy, warm, sweater with a heart on it on. The sweater was really oversized which made her feel way more comfortable than she was in just regular clothes, then she put on plain black skinny jeans with rips in them. She decided to put no make up on and not straighten her hair. Her hair was naturally wavy so it worked. Freya left the bathroom and went downstairs. Of course in her nature her first instinct was to go to the room the tree was in, but she didn't. She figured their would probably be no presents and she didn't want to check. Freya was beginning to miss the traditions back home. It didn't matter. Just because she missed old traditions it wasn't going to bring her mood down. Her smile right now could light up the whole city. She walked into the kitchen to some of the chefs cooking breakfast. Freya didn't like seeing people doing stuff for her on such a joyous holiday. Freya decided to help them cook. It took a while but it was worth it. Freya tried to eat hers but her hand just got smacked back away from the food. The chef who was a bit like her mother told her she had to wait until everyone woke up. She had the nerve to go clack some pans together and wake absolutely everyone up. Though she wasn't that hungry and she could wait, but it did look good. Freya sighed, shrugging it off. Freya had an idea that would make this Christmas actually seem like Christmas. Freya went up to her room and got her purse putting all of her money into her pocket. Freya had about two hundred dollars in her pocket. She grabbed her phone and left out of the house. Freya would drive but walking was her thing. She loved walking. Plus she wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the Christmas scent. The only thing that would make all of this better was if it snowed. Freya headed out to the nearest store to get presents for everyone. She would try to buy everyone something but she still wanted to get all of her friends something really nice as well. As she was walking Freya decided to tweet her fans. Now that it was nearing the end of the season Cherry Bomb's fans were just huge. There was a lot. Just like before Freya still tried to follow and message them. It took her a little while but Freya reached the store. She knew what to get for her girls. A bow for Alyssa, a mirror for Haley, perfume for Gemma, and for Vivian purple and red lipstick. The girls dropped hints and that's exactly what the hints led to so Freya got them exactly what the hints inferred. Freya also got the Lasting Apocalypse boys something. Jamie was the first one that came to her mind. It made her feel a bit unfair. Though she did fancy him a small bit. Freya tried not to give off any signs that she had a crush on him. When she had a crush she kept her feelings on a shelf about it. She over heard enough conversations and had enough conversations to know what to get them for this holiday. She got the solo artists and different band members that she didn't talk to gifts that just looked like they fitted them. Freya went to the front to pay for everything plus wrapping paper, boxes to put the gifts in, and little bows. It took almost all the money she had but it was worth it. Freya didn't regret anything. She grabbed the bags and skipped right on home. At this point in time she considered the X-Factor house her true home but nothing could ever replace her old home. In about twice the time it took her to get to the store it took to get home. Freya stayed outside on the step for a bit. The brunette took each present and put them in the box, wrapping them, and putting a little bow on them, then writing each name on every specific gift that belonged to them. After Freya wrapped them all she put then all back in the bag. She got up and smiled to herself. She truly felt like a good person. The brunette opened the door and smiled the same smile she had this morning the one that could light up the whole city if it wanted to. Everyone was in the living room just hanging out and talking. Freya went in the living room and looked around to make sure everyone was there, yep everyone was there. "Merry Christmas!" Freya shouted loud enough for everyone to hear her. At that moment she remembered about her breakfast that looked ever so yummy. Oh well, she'd just eat it later. Now she had gifts to hand out. Freya was proud of herself today, she did a good thing.
“Move out my fucking way,” Mason growled at the crowd that had gathered on a corner near their condo complex. His usually upbeat, confident front had quickly descended into one of hostility. It wasn’t the ideal mood; he hadn’t expected to spend his first official night in Los Angeles in a state of despair or anger. But somehow, Harmony had succeeded into getting inside of his head, again. Picking fights seemed to be the pair’s new favorite pastime. Attempting to push aside the negative thoughts from his mind, the male checked his cell phone – an old flip phone that his father had given him when he was twelve. The bastard hadn’t even bothered to trade the shitty piece in for one that actually he could actually be proud of. The old item gave him specific directions as to where Tabitha’s condo was located.
Tabitha Steele was a pretty blonde that Mason hadn’t been given the opportunity to know while they were trapped in Acostas, a pathetic excuse for a town. By a twist of events, they had developed a relationship farther than just acquaintances. She had come on strong. Confidently, even. But he refused to complain, it lessened the effort on his side. Once he located the building that looked identical to his own, the boy knocked loudly on its wooden door.
Notes → Klaine cuddles and overall Klaine loveliness - also, Kurt and Blaine discuss their experiences with being bullied.
Blaine was leaning on the door of the passenger side of Kurt's car, waiting patiently for his boyfriend, even though he was jokingly trying to rush the other. This opportunity to show Kurt how he was to "sneak into" Blaine's house when the need arose may have seemed dramatic or silly, but Blaine knew that it was best for both him and Kurt that his boyfriend didn't cross the path of James Anderson quite yet. Of course, if their relationship lasted longer (which he sincerely hoped it would), Blaine would introduce Kurt to his father eventually, it was just something that he knew needed to be serious before he made it known to his disapproving dad. Just as he decided to look up from his feet, Blaine saw Kurt approaching him, smile widening when the taller boy's long legs stretched out into a small run, Blaine using his hip to propel him from the side of the car and stroll forward, chuckling softly and wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist, falling back gently. "Uh huh," he grinned. "Can't rush perfection." he teased, echoing the other's words. "And you are /definitely/ perfection." Blaine slowly and reluctantly let go of Kurt, hands sliding off, fingers tapping along his boyfriend's waist before pulling them back to himself. "You know how to get to my house, right?" he asked, stepping back and wrapping his fingers around the door handle, nodding to the other side with a smile.
Kurt pulled away from Blaine with an exaggerated pout. "All these compliments are going to over inflate my ego!" he complained, though mostly in jest. In truth, Kurt loved that Blaine often complimented him, mainly because people rarely did. Every now and again someone would give him a compliment on one of his outfits, but the last time someone had actually complimented him on his appearance was at a family reunion where multiple family members had told him he'd "grown into such a handsome young boy", but Kurt didn't count that. "Yup, now let's go. I've had cuddles on my mind all day," he said with a smile, glancing around the parking lot to make sure no one else was around before gently pressing his lips to Blaine's for what felt like half of a second. With that Kurt unlocked the doors to his car, took his seat, and before turning on the car turned to Blaine. "I'm usually very particular about what radio station I listen to while I drive, but because you're cute I'll let you choose what we listen to. Just no metal, that's my only rule."
Blaine rolled his eyes dramatically when Kurt said he'd had cuddles on the mind all day, a soft laugh escaping him. He was pretty sure they were avoiding PDA for the sake of helping with the secrecy. However, it was clear that no one else was around, and Blaine happily kissed back for the brief moment, eyebrows raising and hazel eyes widening for the tiniest moment. Letting out a content hum, Blaine smiled as he moved back to the car door, taking his bottom lip into his mouth then releasing it once more. Sliding into his seat, Blaine fastened his seatbelt as he turned to listen to Kurt when he spoke, pouting and extending his hand to the radio dial. "And I was in such a Slipknot mood, too." he joked, flicking through the channels until he found a channel playing -- quite conveniently -- Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. With a soft giggle, Blaine sat back and happily hummed along, one leg crossed over the other.
Kurt stuck his tongue out at Blaine childishly at his comment about the radio. Kurt chuckled slightly at the seemingly too perfect song that came on the radio. Kurt chose to listen to Blaine hum along to the song as opposed to singing along like he usually would, and did so for the remainder of the drive. When he pulled up to the Anderson household Kurt was just the slightest bit disappointed when the radio turned off along with the car when he pulled the keys from the ignition. Blaine had looked so adorable, humming alone to the various songs that played on the radio as they drove, and Kurt had been content in listening to him, sending him wide smiles whenever they reached a red light. However, the prospect of cuddling and kissing immediately erased all disappointment from Kurt's mind. He stepped out of the car, leaving his pile of books in the backseat, but choosing to bring his bag with him. "Teach me the ways of sneaking into your home, Mr. Anderson," he said once Blaine had stepped out of the car as well, offering out his hand to the younger boy.
Blaine was excited to be able to act boyfriend-y with Kurt now that they were alone, hating how he couldn't do it in school when they'd just started dating. Smiling contently, Blaine stepped out of the car, gently shutting his door and taking Kurt's hand when it was offered, taking one big step so that he was right by Kurt's side. "Determination, Mr. Hummel," Blaine acknowledged with raised eyebrows and a teasing smirk. "That will bode well in your secret mission." he nodded laughing softly and rushing around the side of the big house, dragging Kurt along with him. When they stopped, they were beside the small shed that was right beneath Blaine's bedroom window. "Okay." he stated pointedly, releasing Kurt's hand and turning to face him. "You just climb up the ladder between the shed and the garage -- it's totally stable don't worry," he assured, pulling Kurt over and stepping up the ladder himself, getting to the second last step. "Then -- you just --" he pushed himself up to rest on the flat roof. "-- Pull yourself up, and considering /I/ can get there -- I'm sure you can get to the window." he decided, considering it was at his own waist. "After that -- considering I'll usually know you're coming -- I'll have the window open, so you can just come through.. If it's not just knock or text me or something -- and otherwise.. I mean if you want to come over and it's sort of unannounced.. Just -- I'll leave the other key on the ledge." he nodded gesturing to the ladder for his boyfriend to climb up, happy to help him get up too. "Now -- c'mon." he grinned.
Kurt eyed the ladder before him suspiciously. Despite Blaine's assurance that the structure was sturdy Kurt wasn't quite sure he could trust the ladder. It was old, and certainly didn't look like it could handle the weight of a growing teenage boy. However, Blaine seemed to make it up the ladder with grace and ease, and Kurt /did/ want to be able to sneak up to his boyfriend's room whenever he wanted - though why he would have to do so he wasn't quite sure of yet. He simply assumed that Blaine preferred to not have to go through the awkwardness of introducing Kurt to his father just yet, which was understandable; especially after Blaine had to go through such an awkward introduction to Kurt's dad. Kurt hesitantly stepped up to the ladder and briskly placed his foot against the bottom step. "You're so lucky I like you so much," he muttered before swinging his bag across his shoulders to secure it, and ascending the ladder as quickly as possible. Fortunately the ladder seemed to be as sturdy as Blaine had promised, though Kurt was sure that he wouldn't be giving the suspicious fixture his trust anytime soon. He pulled himself up to the roof and made his way to the window, letting out a sigh of relief once he'd reached his goal. "I'm buying your family a new ladder for Christmas."
Blaine crouched down, watching Kurt scale up the ladder with perfect grace, simply smiling amusedly when his boyfriend said that Blaine was just lucky he liked him. He knew it wasn't ideal, and he wished it could be different, but Blaine's father had taken to even eyeing up Mike, Blaine's best friend for years when he'd come over, suggesting that they just stay in the living room. Of course, Blaine hadn't spoken to Mike in quite some time, but he knew that his own father's view hadn't changed. Standing up, Blaine gave Kurt a small round of applause, tilting his head in appraisal. "Oh no you won't." Blaine shook his head, sliding the window up, using his upper body strength to push himself up and into his bedroom, landing carefully on the ground. "That would suggest that I need the ladder to help sneak my boyfriend into my house. And I would /never/ be that sneaky." he winked, holding his hands out for Kurt.
Kurt gave Blaine a slight curtsy in response to the small applause he received for managing to scale the ladder without harming himself; which in Kurt's opinion was certainly a cause for applause. "Hm, you're right. I guess I'll just have to find another way to give your parents the gift of a new ladder without seeming suspicious." Kurt shrugged before taking Blaine's hands and stepping into the younger boy's bedroom. He dropped his messenger bag to the floor with a light 'thunk' before stretching out his arms and turning to Blaine with a smile. "So, where would you like to begin?" he asked with a coy smile.
Blaine easily pulled Kurt up, turning and sitting on the edge of his bed, taking his shoes off and then walking over to neatly place them alongside his other pairs. His room usually remained pristine, though when it was messy -- /wow/ was it messy, luckily right now was not one of those times, as Blaine always found that when he was happy, his room mirrored the tidystate of his mind. Smiling broadly, Blaine padded back over to Kurt and interlaced their fingers, looking up into the other's blue eyes. "Well -- for starters--" he whispered, leaning up on his tippy toes and pressing his lips to Kurt's, sighing and falling back down on the balls of his socked feet, leaving Kurt to bend the small distance down as they were finally able to leave their lips linger.
Kurt had to give Blaine credit, his room was certainly in the immaculate condition he claimed it would be in. Suddenly Kurt felt a bit bad about the fact that whenever Blaine came over his room was always a terrible mess, which was usually something very out of character for Kurt Hummel. Kurt promised himself to make sure his room was spotless for the next time Blaine came over to his house; mainly because he didn't want his boyfriend to think that he was a messy person. Kurt couldn't help but allow a light chuckle to escape his lips before Blaine lips silenced him. Kurt found the fact that Blaine had to stand on the tips of his toes just to kiss him absolutely adorable, and was one of the things on the rapidly growing list of things about Blaine that made Kurt smile. After a moment or two of lazy kisses Kurt slowly pulled away. "An excellent start; but maybe we should watch the movie first. We don't want you getting too tired before we can even get to the movie," he teased, sitting on the edge of Blaine's perfectly made bed.
Blaine nodded in agreement with a soft smile. "Just wanted to do that all day." he assured, wandering over to his DVD rack while Kurt took a seat on his bed. "You can make yourself comfortable you know. I mean -- there is /no/ way you're wearing shoes on my bed." he laughed, nodding down to Kurt's feet, averting them back to scan their choices. "I'm presuming we're supposed to watch a romantic movie, so --" he stopped, still trying to make a decision from his selection. Finally picking one, Blaine took it between his fingers, slipping one arm out of his cardigan, followed by the other hanging his cardigan up in his wardrobe. "I know that you'll say yes so -- I'm gonna just go ahead." he grinned, popping 'Moulin Rouge' into the player and grabbing the remote before sliding onto his mattress, lying back against the pillows, looking at Kurt expectantly.
Kurt laughed as he began to unlace his boots. "Don't worry, I understand," he assured before turning back to the laces of his boots, which required his full attention to be properly removed. After a bit of a struggle trying to pry off the relentless boots Kurt gently placed them by his bag and looked up at the TV screen to see what movie Blaine had chosen. At the sight of the opening menu for one of his favorite movies Kurt couldn't help but let out a childish squeal of delight as he clapped his hands together excitedly. "You're right, I definitely would've said yes. How did you know; am I really that predictable?" he asked with a laugh as he curled up at Blaine's side, gently resting his head against the younger boy's shoulder.
Blaine laughed quietly nodding as he selected the "Play Movie" option. "Not so much predictable, just that you happen to have mentioned Moulin Rouge and I happen to pay very good attention." He pointed out, smiling to himself when Kurt began to curl up to his side. This was definitely one of the upsides of the fact that they had such a good friendship prior to being together. There wasn't too much awkwardness really, and they were both comfortable enough around each other, not wholly, but certainly more than most couples starting off. Blaine felt his entire body warm up with the blissful feeling of contentment, wrapping his arm around Kurt's shoulders and resting his head down on Kurt's. "So.. How was your day?" He asked, pressing a kiss to the top of the other's head.
Kurt sighed contently as the familiar opening scene of the movie filled the screen and his boyfriend's arms wrapped securely around his shoulders. The memory of the first time he and Blaine had 'cuddled' suddenly came to mind and made Kurt laugh to himself slightly. The memory of him trying to choose a film scary enough that he could cuddle into Blaine's arms without appearing too suspicious was one so embarrassing he'd tried to suppress it. And now here he was, happily cuddling with Blaine, who was now his boyfriend, unabashedly. It wasn't until his cheeks began to hurt slightly that Kurt realized he had a wide smile on his face. He relaxed his overworked cheek muscles as he allowed his smile to fade as he answered Blaine's inquiry. "It was alright. I didn't get tossed into a dumpster by Karofsky, and Puckerman wasn't around to slushie me. Plus, I got to hold hands with this /gorgeous/ guy in my Anatomy class, so it was a pretty good day," he said, looking up at Blaine and giving him a knowing wink.
Blaine jumped slightly, feeling the vibrations of Kurt's laugh echoing against his chest. He glanced down amusedly, prodding at Kurt's shoulder lightly. "What are you laughing at?!" He asked curiously. "Nothing funny has happened yet!" The teen pointed out with furrowed eyebrows. Hearing that Kurt's day hadn't been interrupted by the cruelty of their fellow students brought a sad smile to Blaine's face, because of course he would have preferred if that was never an issue. "I'm glad." He mused, his smile widening when Kurt spoke of his anatomy class. "Oh? Well it just so happens I was in the same predicament."
Kurt lifted his head up from Blaine's shoulder, gently leaning his chin against his chest instead. "I was just thinking about the first time we cuddled... well, more like I embarrassingly attempted to cuddle into you without you suspecting anything. Remember, when I came over that one time I was sick... and I think I accidentally broke one of your bowls," he said with another laugh, his cheeks tinting slightly at the overly embarrassing memory. "Oh, really? I guess we've both had pretty good days then," he chided, giving Blaine a gentle kiss before settling back against his shoulder.
Blaine raised in eyebrows in surprise, hearing the story told back to him. He of course remembered that day well, but he'd been pretty sure that cuddling was purely platonic on Kurt behalf, although in hindsight it made sense. "You -- that was purposeful?" He asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I was afraid to cuddle you too much in case I creeped you out or something." Blaine admitted, laughing when he observed their current position. "And indeed you broke a bowl." He nodded, reciprocating the light kiss. "I like cuddling you." He mumbled, nuzzling into his boyfriend's hair. "I really like it. I really like /you/."
Kurt was surprised that Blaine hadn't been able to tell that his embarrassing display that night had been intentional. "Of course it was! You couldn't tell? Hm, maybe I do have a career as an actor then," he teased. Kurt had been positive that Blaine had caught on to his not-so-elusive ways that day, but apparently he had been none the wiser to Kurt's plan. "Well, I was trying to get you to cuddle with me, so you definitely wouldn't have been creeping me out. Now I can get all the cuddles I want." A smug smile played at the corners of Kurt's lips. "I'll repay you one day. I'm not sure how, but I will," he shrugged in response. The feeling of Blaine nuzzling into Kurt's hair sent a comforting warmth throughout his body; a warmth that made him feel safe and at peace. Had anyone else tried to come within three feet of Kurt's perfectly styled hair Kurt would have raised hell and a half, but when it came to Blaine Kurt certainly made exceptions. "I may not have much... or any, experience to refer to, but I'm pretty sure that with practice we can become the greatest cuddles in all of Ohio," he said with a cheesy grin.
Blaine shook his head. "Not /all/ the cuddles.. Don't get /too/ greedy." He teased, pulling his boyfriend closer. "We accept kisses and cuddle, no cash." Blaine winked, his father hadn't even noticed the bowl was missing, so it really hadn't been a big deal. "I think we may already hold that crown." He offered, bringing his other arm to rest on Kurt's waist. "And of course we'll have to fight to keep the trophy for kissing too."
Kurt scrunched up his nose at Blaine's teasing. "Unacceptable. I think I've earned my right to all of the cuddles I want." He nodded to assert his point. "Hmmm, I think I may have a /few/ kisses and cuddles on me," he teased before leaning forward to kiss both of Blaine's cheeks. "We'll definitely have to fight for our crown. I hear the overly sexually active band geeks are trying to give us a run for our money," he giggled out.
Blaine felt his cheeks heating up when his boyfriend placed gentle kisses to them. "Oh well we can't have them triumphing over all, can we?" He asked with a laugh. His finger began to absentmindedly thread through Kurt's hair, feeling the soft stands falling in and out of his fingers. "We'll win either way -- we're far more attractive." He winked, leaning down closer and resting their noses together.
Kurt found himself slowly leaning in to Blaine's fingers as they began to toy with what he was sure was no longer perfectly styled hair. "Mhmm," he answered absentmindedly, too busy enjoying the soft caress of Blaine's fingers in his hair. Kurt had never realized how good it felt to have someone play with your hair, considering he always swatted people away before they could get to close to his precious hair; but after today he decided that Blaine would be allowed to run his fingers through Kurt's hair whenever he wanted. "Very true. Especially you." He gave Blaine a wink in return, gently brushing their noses together into a soft eskimo kiss, struggling to fight back the enormous smile that had bubbled up inside of him.
Blaine giggled over Kurt's lips, bumping his nose back against the other's. "Nope. That would be you, mister." He disagreed, pulling on Kurt's waist so that his chest was resting on Kurt's, bringing them closer than before. "You should just never leave, okay?" He whispered, glancing at Kurt's now slightly disheveled hair. "I-- oh- I'm sorry -- I sorta messed your hair up." He said with a nervous laugh, pulling his fingers from it and flattening it -- or attempting to. "I have... Hair gel.. If you want."
Kurt shook his head slightly at Blaine's compliment. "Nope, I'm pretty sure it's you... Oh God, are we going to be one of those couples that have cheesy "I love you more" or "No youuuu're cuter" fights?" he asked with a pout. Kurt had given many of those types of couples dirty looks whenever he saw them; envying how completely enamored the couples seemed to be with each other, while Kurt was always watching from afar alone. Now he was one of them - a sappy half of a sappy couple, and he loved that. "I wish I didn't have to, but I'm sure my dad would send out a search party when he realizes that I'm missing." Kurt laughed at Blaine's offer to share his hair product. Kurt caught sight of a mirror a few feet away from Blaine's bed and pondered going over to the mirror to quickly restyle his hair, but ultimately chose against it. Instead he nuzzled back into Blaine's side, resting his head slightly on the younger boy's chest and turning his attention back to the movie. "I'm fine, it doesn't matter that much anyway." And that was when Kurt realized how much he /really/ liked Blaine - because Kurt's hair was something that mattered very much to him. But when he was with Blaine the state of his hair was the last thing on his mind.
Blaine bit his lip when there was a small reference to possible exchanging of I love yous in the future. He laughed softly and nodded slowly into Kurt's hair, pulling away to concur. "I would imagine so." he agreed, tilting Kurt's chin up to place a kiss to his puckered lips. Blaine was of course always a lover of romance, and though for years he would see cute couples and feel jealousy, he would smile happily at their sweet nature and hope for something similar when he grew up. And now he was there, maybe still not grown up, but with somebody he felt that happiness with. "No -- your dad will think you are pillows -- we'll do a whole Ferris Bueller thing, it'll work, okay?" he said, shaking his head and tightening his arms around Kurt to emphasize his point. Blaine gasped dramatically, feigning horror and pulling back to stare at Kurt with shock. "Your hair /doesn't matter/?!" he exclaimed, eyebrows raising as he eventually relaxed once more. "If you don't kiss me I think I'll fall asleep because I'm far too comfortable."
Kurt smiled into the brief kiss at the thought of future playful arguments with Blaine in the hallways of McKinley, once they decided it was time to put an end to the secretive aspect of their relationship, and even the possibility of exchanging "I love you's" in the future. A brief twinge of guilt tugged at Kurt's heart as he suddenly thought of all the closeted boys, and maybe even girls, who would look at Kurt and Blaine one day and feel the same way Kurt felt whenever he saw a happy couple together. Suddenly the roles were reversed; Kurt was no longer the lonely boy who watched on as other couples expressed their love for each other in various physical and vocal ways - he'd finally found someone who made him smile; someone who made him happy. And then in almost an instant all of the guilt and sympathy he felt for those who would one day watch himself and Blaine with envy melted away - because he knew that they would end up just like him; finding the person who made them happier than any other. "Hmm, I'm not sure if pillows will work. Burt Hummel's a pretty intuitive man. Plus I'm pretty sure he'd figure out something was wrong if I didn't say anything to him for an entire day. He always teases me for talking nonstop," he replied, shrugging nonchalantly. Kurt was sure he'd laughed harder at Blaine's mock-horror than at anything else that week. Once he'd managed to regain his breath a bit as his laughter dulled down to bursts of giggle fits he managed to reply, "Well, it /does/ matter - just not right now." Kurt rolled his eyes at Blaine, giving him a look half filled with sass, and half filled with complete and utter adoration. "Well, we can't have that now, can we." He raised one eyebrow dramatically before slowly leaning forward to press his lips against Blaine's.
Blaine had no idea how he'd even been with Sebastian -- why he'd bothered. Sure, he'd wooed him to a certain extent, whipped out various cute gestures out of his bag of well rehearsed tricks, given Blaine three vital firsts, but none of that mattered. It had never felt as real as this did, never felt as natural of the feeling that consumed Blaine when he once again found himself lost in his boyfriend's cerulean. When he could already feel himself falling deep into the blissful pools of love, Blaine had absolutely no idea how he'd managed to spend the time he did with Sebastian. "Well.. You look gorgeous no matter what anyways." Blaine mused when Kurt confirmed his denying of the haircare. Shaking his head, Blaine easily melted into the pleasurable tingles that shot down his spine, a direct reaction caused by Kurt's kisses. Cupping the other's cheek, Blaine allowed his eyes to flutter closed, parting his lips slightly and moving them against Kurt's. It was almost scary how natural this was, how it really seemed like they were just /meant/ to be.
Kurt shook his head slightly at Blaine's compliment as a light laugh escaped his lips. Kurt never imagined that it was possible to like someone as much as he liked Blaine. Just the thought of their first kiss that had occurred not even a week earlier in the privacy of Kurt's bedroom made the strongest of butterflies flutter throughout his chest and stomach. Whenever he was in class and found himself drifting off to thoughts of Blaine he could slowly feel his chest constricting as his heart alternated from skipping a beat, to beating a mile a minute. Kurt briefly wondered if this feeling would ever go away - if after a while he would become immune to the effect the mere thought of Blaine brought upon him. He sincerely hoped that it wouldn't; because that indescribable, irreplaceable, perfect feeling was one he wanted to cherish, and feel, for as long as he possibly could. "I'm pretty sure you're just seeing your reflection in my eyes," Kurt teased, locking his own glasz eyes with the beautiful hazel ones before him. Kurt wasn't the best at doling out compliments, considering he didn't know many people to give them too before, but he definitely attempted to give out as many as he could when it came to Blaine - mostly because the beautiful younger boy deserved them. Kurt smiled throughout the gentle kiss, slowly allowing the smile to fade as he brought himself closer to Blaine, if that was even possible at that point. Even after a make out session or two Kurt was still fascinated by the way he and Blaine's lips seemed to be naturally made for each other; perfectly slotting together in perfect harmony.
Blaine wondered for a moment if his new feeling would be a memory he could keep. Of course, he hoped that I they stayed together for a long time, that the spark and blissfulness between Kurt and Blaine would never leave, but it would surely has go lost that new feeling at some point. That wasn't a bad thing of course, it would allow then to descend into the comfortable feeling of knowing someone more than you know yourself, and knowing that they're the exact same when it comes to you. Blaine chuckled softly, shaking his head in disagreement. "I can't see anything in your eyes but crystally, crystally blue." He mused with a proud grin, gazing into said orbs. Melting completely was going to be a feeling Blaine would have to get used to, because there was no other way to describe what happened when Kurt and Blaine's lips touched. He sighed, one hand meeting the back of Kurt's head, weaving into his hair and holding him close as he began to deepen the kiss, tentatively introducing his tongue; eyelashes fluttering gently against Kurt's cheeks.
Kurt still found himself completely entranced by the wonders of kissing. He didn't think it was possible to feel as happy as he did when he was kissing Blaine. As their lips moved slowly but perfectly Kurt felt as though his chest was going to explode from the enormous amount of happiness that had slowly built up inside of him. Just the thought of weeks and months filled with close kisses, hand-holding, and perfect cuddles made Kurt's head spin and his toes curl. Blaine made Kurt feel so comfortable - more so than he felt in his own home. Even when it came to their brief, but heated, make out sessions Blaine managed to make Kurt feel comfortable with his lack of skills in the kissing department. When Kurt kissed Blaine the world seemed to stop, and all he could feel was his heart beating rapidly in his chest, goosebumps slowly rising on his skin, and the perfect feeling of Blaine's lips gliding against. Kurt wasn't quite sure how long they had been sitting there, tongues exploring each others mouths, hands curling in clothing and hair. It could've been minutes, or even hours, and Kurt wouldn't care - because everything was perfect, and he wanted to cherish every single second of it. It wasn't until the tune of a familiar song slowly floated to his ears that Kurt suddenly pulled away from Blaine and sat up rather abruptly - not even giving his boyfriend a moment to comprehend that he was no longer kissing him. "Blaine, Blaine, Blaine, this is my favorite scene!" Kurt squealed excitedly as the familiar tune to "Come What May" filled Blaine's room.
Blaine 's mind could only remain in this moment, focusing on Kurt, focusing on them, his mind never once straying from this beautiful reality he found himself experiencing. With Sebastian, sometimes, Blaine could find his mind drifting away during make out sessions, thinking of what he'd have for dinner, what homework he hadn't done. This was so completely different and Blaine was so overwhelmingly happy that he had found this with a guy he'd ever felt such a strong connection with so soon in life. He was so lost in fact, that when Kurt's lips pulled away from his with a smack, Blaine instantly trying to follow them before he frowned and opened his eyes lazily, sliding his tongue across his own swollen lips. The beginning of Blaine's favorite song from Moulin Rouge began to ring through his ears and he turned to the screen, smiling widely when Kurt spoke, turning back to him and raising an eyebrow. "Seriously?! Mine too!!" he said, switching up positions slightly as they got to watching the song, sliding down so that /he/ was cuddled close to Kurt's side, nuzzling into his neck and looking up into the screen, lips pressing chaste kisses atop Kurt's chest every few notes.
Kurt wrapped his arm around Blaine's shoulders, practically on instinct, as the younger boy nuzzled into his side as their favorite scene filled the screen of Blaine's TV. Without much thought Kurt began to sing along to the familiar song that he sand so often that even his dad had managed to learn all of the lyrics. The fact that Kurt was now watching one of his favorite movies, singing one of his favorite songs, with his new favorite person, as opposed to watching it alone in his room as he did at least once a month, made him smile brightly, turning every few notes to sing the emotional love song while he looked into his beautiful boyfriend's eyes. "Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place..." he sang along, taking a brief pause from singing to place a light kiss against Blaine's forehead. Later on he paused in the midst of his singing as he was consumed by giggles resulting from the ticklish feeling of Blaine pressing gentle kisses to his chest. "Hey, that tickles!" he giggled out, giving Blaine a playful shove.
Blaine began to quietly sing along with Kurt, cheeks practically hurting he was smiling /that/ much. When he felt Kurt's eyes on him, Blaine looked up slowly, feeling his heart skip a beat, the look in Kurt's eyes rendering him silent. He bit his lip gently, smiling sheepishly at his boyfriend, giggling quietly when a soft kiss was pressed to his forehead, nuzzling back into Kurt's neck, continuing with his peppering of kisses. Humming against Kurt's chest, Blaine laughed quietly, raising his eyebrows. "Does it?" he asked mischievously, increasing the pace of his attack, resting his fingers along Kurt's hips and slowly beginning to add them to the tickling mix, slowly starting a tickling motion along Kurt's side, laughing quietly into the kisses he was administering, looking up adoringly at Kurt.
Kurt ceased his singing completely as he felt Blaine's fingers against his hips, one of his fingers ghosting over the area where the faded scar he'd received during an operation several years earlier. "Don't you dare, Blaine Anderson!" Kurt warned, knowing what would undoubtedly come next. He only managed to take about five seconds of the tickle attack before bursting into a fit of uncontrollable raucous laughter that Kurt was sure would cause Blaine to cover the older boy's mouth, even if though they were the only two in the large house. Kurt had never been good with tickle fights; he'd always given in to easily, but he couldn't help it. "Stop, stop!" he choked out, tears starting to spill from his eyes slightly as the tickling sensation began to completely take over him.
Blaine was caught in his own quiet fit of charming laughter, his fingers roaming up and down Kurt's hips, eyes watching the adorable sight unfolding beneath him. "You -- are too cute." Blaine managed to giggle out, then quietly hushing Kurt, the loud laughter echoing throughout his room. He continued with his assault for a while longer, biting his lip to suppress the laughter he could hardly contain as he tortured his beautiful boyfriend. Eventually, the teen ceased when he believed that he'd invoked enough suffering, falling down beside Kurt and trailing his fingers up and down Kurt's hips where his shirt had risen slightly to expose some of his flawless pale skin. Blaine observed a mark on Kurt's side, furrowing his eyebrows and looking up to Kurt. "Hey -- what's this..?"
Kurt took a minute or two to catch his breath after Blaine had decided he had enough of torturing poor Kurt with tickles. Once his breathing had returned to it's usual rate he began to dab at his damp cheeks, stained with the tears of his laughter. "First you mess up my hair, and now you make me cry, you are /horrible/, Blaine Anderson," Kurt teased as he ran the back of his hand over his moist cheek. The smile that had seemed to be plastered on Kurt's face faltered slightly when he realized Blaine had caught sight of the scar on his right hip. "It's nothing. I had my appendix removed when I was twelve, and the scar's been there ever since - and this one," he said, gesturing to a much smaller, less visible scar not even an inch away from the surgical scar, "I got that one the first time I was thrown into a dumpster. I didn't know how to land without hurting myself, so of course I ended up hurting myself," he shrugged rather nonchalantly. Kurt bit his lip, suddenly regretting revealing such grim, and rather private, information, especially during such a happy moment, and tugged down the hem of his shirt sheepishly.
Blaine grinned proudly, turning his head and placing a kiss to Kurt's cheek before he spoke. "Tears of /joy/ and /laughter/." he pointed out with a smug look, patting down Kurt's hair gently in the process. Blaine felt his own face morph into one bearing a frown when Kurt's face dropped, biting his lip when he realized that he must have said something wrong. He nodded when Kurt explained the scar, shrugging and gently running his finger along it. "Won't be feeding you grass any time soon in that case." he teased, soon seeing Kurt pull away the material to reveal yet another scar. "You -- what?!" Blaine asked, appalled that the bullying Kurt received could cause something like that. "I'm.. Sorry you had to go through all of that.. You definitely don't deserve it." he assured, soon turning on his side, frowning when Kurt seemed obviously embarrassed or ashamed or -- something. He had a thought, a thought that filled him with nerves but if it made Kurt feel better, nothing else mattered. "I.. Have a few too.. I mean I could.. Show you if you want? Tit for tat and all.."
Kurt nodded slightly at Blaine's defense. He /was/ right, they were tears of joy and laughter. "Alright, I'll give you that one. But next time we have a tickle fight it is /so/ on," he taunted, a devilish smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. A shiver was sent down Kurt's spine as he felt Blaine's finger brush against the length of the worn scar. A small laugh had made it's way to Kurt's lips, but quickly evaporated when he saw Blaine's reaction to the second scar. "It's... It's fine, it happens all the time. I-I mean, I don't get scars anymore b-because of it... I've learned how to land without hurting myself," he mumbled in no more than a whisper. Kurt turned to Blaine, his eyes suddenly much wider than before. "R-really?" he asked curiously. Kurt had never met someone else who had scars as a result of their bullying - and the thought of seeing the proof that he was not alone fascinated him. "Y-you don't have to show me if you don't want to... I-I understand."
Blaine felt his frown growing when Kurt explained that he was /still/ being thrown into the school dumpsters. Blaine had no idea how people could be /that/ cruel -- he'd /never/ understand bullied, and more than anything, he hated how it was happening to Kurt. "I -- they have to stop.." He mumbled, taking a hold of Kurt's hand, squeezing it reassuringly. "We should just.. Go to school together and then we can avoid them somehow.. Plus, you've got a boxer for a boyfriend, so." He said with a giggle, trying to lighten things. Blaine's bullying scars weren't exactly as a direct result of his bullying experiences, rather the fixation of the injuries he'd endured. "No it's -- it's only fair anyways.." He confessed, holding out his hand and curling it into a fist, revealing the scar that lined his knuckles. "This is a scar but -- it's self inflicted I guess so it doesn't count entirely, does it?" He shrugged? sitting up and grabbing the hem of his shirt. "I basically have to take my shirt off to show you the other ones -- just -- as a warning." He laughed nervously, pulling it up, gathering it at his front as it slid over his head. The few scars were now revealed, two, placed on either side of his lower back, one stretching around his hip and onto his torso, and another two higher up, just beneath his shoulder blades.
Kurt shrugged at Blaine's apparent distress over the fact that Kurt was still being thrown into dumpsters on a daily basis. "It's fine, really. I'm used to it now," he said with a shrug of his shoulders before looking into Blaine's eyes. "A-and, I really don't want them to do anything to you too... S-So, maybe it'd be best if you just... stayed away from me in the morning?" he proposed, suddenly nervous that Blaine would take Kurt's idea the wrong way. What Kurt had said was the complete truth. The neanderthals that were Azimio and Karofsky had been tossing Kurt into dumpsters and throwing slushies at his face for months now, and he couldn't bear to have them turn around and do the same to Blaine. No one deserved to go through that kind of torture everyday - especially not Blaine, someone who had been through enough already. "Even if you are a boxer, which might I add is /extremely/ hot, they're bigger than you, Blaine... I just really, /really/ don't want anything to happen to you," he said, grabbing Blaine's hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. Kurt examined the scar along Blaine's knuckles with wide eyed curiosity. His cerulean eyes examined every aspect of the light scar, leaning forward slightly and pressing a gentle kiss against the center of the worn scar. He was quite surprised that he hadn't noticed the scar earlier, he thought as he gently ran his index finger along the connecting scar. Kurt bit his lip as he nodded rather excitedly after Blaine warned that he would be taking off his shirt. He found himself having to bit down on his lip even more as his eyes fell upon his boyfriend's gorgeous tan chest. Before that moment Kurt had never seen a boy he found attractive shirtless - well, not in person at least - and Kurt desperately hoped that Blaine wouldn't notice the extreme blush that had begun to form on his cheeks. Kurt lifted his shaking fingers to run them gently over the various scars, his eyes examining each of the light lines with delicate and mindful care. "Did... d-did you get these at the Sadie Hawkins dance?" Kurt asked hesitantly, remembering the unfortunate tale Blaine had once told Kurt.
Blaine shook his head, looking at his boyfriend with protective sincerity. "No. There's no way I'm leaving you alone to fall victim to those guys every morning. I've faced much worse -- I know there's not much else they can do in broad daylight." Blaine assured, confident that he didn't care if he had to face bullies once again as long as he could somehow help Kurt. It was immensely sweet that Kurt didn't want anything to happen to Blaine, but Blaine didn't want anything to happen to Kurt either -- so it seemed that nobody would get their way. "I know that I may not be able to fight them off but.. Even if the strength in numbers doesn't work.. At least you'll have someone by your side in that dumpster." Blaine mused, running his hand up and down Kurt's waist in a comforting motion. "A-and... You.. Think it's .. Hot? That I'm a boxer?" He asked with a shy laugh, glancing proudly at his fists. Showing Kurt his scars wasn't easy for Blaine. It wasn't for the reasons that perhaps another teenager would feel -- Blaine had a softly defined six pack and a smooth tanned chest, so that certainly wasn't the issue. Showing his boyfriend the scars he'd received, that was so exposing and it was as if more than one layer was being stripped. The memories of these scars weren't nice ones, but Blaine couldn't help but smile when he felt the gentle touch of Kurt's lips dusting his knuckles. Shaking his head Blaine took a deep breath, ready to explain and clarify. "Indirectly I guess.." He began quietly. "A-after the Sadie Hawkin's fiasco, I was in hospital for a while, and I ended up needing a couple of surgeries.. So.. They're surgery scars, really.. Most of the marks I received from bullying directly have faded." Blaine explained, slowly beginning to slip his shirt back on insecurely and moving his body closer to Kurt's. "Bullies are dumb.. They shoot other people down to hide their own insecurities a-and.. It.. It just really sucks that it results in such awful repercussions."
Kurt sighed as he looked away from Blaine; unable to bear seeing the complete sincerity in Blaine's hazel eyes. "Blaine, I... it's really sweet that you want to help me, but... I-I really can't let you do that." Kurt turned to lock eyes with Blaine once more, hoping that Blaine would see the sincerity that now burned in Kurt's eyes as he pleaded with him. Kurt slowly lifted his hands and placed them against Blaine's cheeks, the warmth of the soft skin tingling the pads of his fingertips. "Blaine, I don't think I could ever forgive myself if I let them even lay a finger on you. Please... just stay away from them... for me," he pleaded, his eyes watering slightly at the thought of the bullies that had made most of, if not all, of his freshman year a living hell turning on Blaine. Kurt was pleased to move on to a lighter topic, hoping it would distract Blaine's mind from the topic of standing up to Kurt's bullies. "Absolutely... You should've told me that you box earlier - I probably would've made my move sooner," he teased, a sly smirk on his face. The smirk slowly faded after Blaine explained the origin of his scars. Just the thought of Blaine lying in a hospital bed, beaten and bruised, made Kurt sick to his stomach. Once Blaine had slipped his shirt back on Kurt wrapped his arms around the younger boy's waist, his fingers lightly brushing against an exposed area of his tanned skin. "They are dumb... And I can't believe anyone could be so demented that they'd want to hurt you... But they can't hurt you now," he murmured into Blaine's neck, placing a gentle kiss against the exposed skin.
Blaine sighed heavily, casting his eyes down sadly, shaking his head slowly. "Kurt I-- You're my boyfriend.. I can't just -- let you get pushed around like that.." he mused, leaning into the touch of Kurt's soft fingertips and palms on his cheeks. "I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't do anything about it.." he admitted, frowning as he found himself in this conundrum, torn between doing what Kurt wanted him to do and sticking to his desire to stand by Kurt. Blaine bit back a smile when Kurt began to elaborate on the fact that the fact that the teen boxed was "hot", feeling a light blush creep up. He rolled his eyes, glaring slightly at Kurt when he told him that he might have made his move earlier had he known. "I took it up after I got bullied.. Just haven't put my self defense into practice. Don't be fooled -- I may be little, but I'm strong. Plus, it means I'm more agile." he pointed out with a soft laugh, arching an eyebrow. Blaine tried to distract himself, moving his eyes away so that he didn't have to feel Kurt's gaze upon him, but it proved difficult, but soon he felt one hundred times better as he was carefully pulled into his boyfriend's arms, allowing his own to drape over Kurt's shoulders, locking around his neck and resting their foreheads together for a tender moment until Kurt spoke. The smaller boy shivered slightly beneath the touch of Kurt's warm fingers along the strip of exposed skin. "So sweet.." Blaine mused quietly, sighing when Kurt's lips were now on his neck, the first place they'd ever been. "I don't understand how anyone could hurt you.. I just.. Don't. You're amazing. So, so amazing.. Please -- please don't face it alone.. Just.. Let me stand by your side.."
Kurt swallowed hard at Blaine's words. Kurt was desperate to keep Blaine away from his bullies, so that he wouldn't have to see Blaine hurt - yet, in doing so Kurt was forcing Blaine to watch Kurt be hurt. Did that make him selfish? Kurt wasn't quite sure, but he knew that he definitely didn't like the feeling that the thought gave him in the pit of his stomach. "Really, Blaine, it's fine. This has been happening for over a year now, I can take care of myself now." Kurt bit his lip, nodding as he listened to Blaine explain the origin of his boxing skills. "Well, hopefully you won't have to put your self defense into practice anytime soon - though I'm sure your small, but nimble, body could take down any bully," he teased half-heartedly, taking Blaine's hand in his and squeezing it gently. Kurt sniffled a bit at Blaine's words, the negative emotions he regarding about those who bullied him slowly beginning to make themselves known, despite how much Kurt tried to suppress them. "I-I... Blaine, you're amazing too, a-and it means the world to me that you want to help; but I /really/ can't let you do this," he insisted, tightening his grip on Blaine's waist.
Blaine bit his lip, watching how truly upset Kurt was getting, feeling the grip around his waist tightening, pulling them closer together, evoking a worried sigh from Blaine. "I-- Kurt I'm crazy about you and -- I can't just.. Let you be hurt like that.." he huffed out, gazing sincerely into his boyfriend's eyes. "B-but I don't want to upset you either.. I mean.. It would be sort of counterproductive if my attempts to help just made you upset.." Blaine admitted with a soft laugh. "How about we.. Try it? Or -- well.. No.. I just.." the Anderson released a frustrated noise, clinging to the back of Kurt's shirt tightly, nuzzling into his neck and taking a couple of deep breaths, breaking back as he began to see Kurt getting even more upset. "I -- p-please don't be upset.. We can just make out again if it'd make you feel better." Blaine pleaded with a half hearted chuckle, leaning up and placing a kiss to each of Kurt's eyelids.
Kurt nodded his head at Blaine's proposals, already having thought of one in his mind seconds earlier. "How about this... I-if it get's worse you can walk with me to school in the morning; then they'll probably leave me alone," he proposed. Kurt was half sure that the bullying he received wouldn't get much worse - because Blaine was right, there was only so much they could do in broad daylight. Throwing him into dumpsters and tossing slushies into his face was probably the worst it was going to be, which meant that if Blaine agreed then it was very likely that he wouldn't have to cross paths with Karofsky or Azimio. Kurt laughed at Blaine's plea, sniffling a bit and nodding as opposed to answering vocally. Blaine's kisses were exactly what he needed.
Blaine chewed at his inner cheek, lips pursed to the side as he did so, contemplating Kurt's suggestion, almost feeling as if it wasn't enough. "But.. I don't /want/ it to get worse.. That's the point.. I don't want to be by your side because it got worse.. I want to be by your side so that it /doesn't/ get worse.." Blaine explained quietly, fiddling with the material of Kurt's shirt. He held Kurt tight, smiling when Kurt agreed to his teasing suggestion. "As you wish." Blaine grinned, the movie completely forgotten at this stage -- if it was even on anymore. Blaine connected their lips, his hand cupping the back of Kurt's neck, kissing him tenderly and comfortingly.
Kurt groaned at Blaine's persistance. He'd been hoping that Blaine would take his suggestion of staying away from him unless matters got worse - but clearly that wasn't enough for Blaine. "But it /won't/ get worse, I'm positive. They're just bored with their lives, so they're taking out any of their leftover emotions from what happens throughout the day on me - soon enough they'll just find something else to take their anger out on. Really, I can handle it, it's nothing serious, and it won't become anything serious," Kurt insisted, hoping that Blaine would be able to see the sincerity and pleading in his eyes. Kurt smiled as Blaine complied with his request, pressing his lips against Kurt's. Kurt leaned in to the kiss, pressing their chests against one another, hoping that the passion of the make out session that was about to ensue would distract Blaine from anymore talk of bullying.
Blaine decided he'd have to leave this argument for another time, between his boyfriend's lips soft against his own, the sweet atmosphere between them, the press of Kurt's chest against his own -- Blaine couldn't pull away, couldn't taint this moment with more talk of serious issues. They could face them another time. Later. But now, this was all about them, how they would spend the rest of the night kissing, holding each other, giggling and whispering sweet words until Blaine heard his father pull up outside, groaning as they both jumped from his bed and gathered Kurt's things as they both snuck out the window, laughing to themselves. Blaine could get used to this. He could definitely get used to this.
Sebastian rolled out of his bed, adjusted himself and threw a towel around his waist. He crossed his bedroom in three steps, the carpet warming his feet, the message from Nick warming his chest. He poked his head out of the doorway and smiled at Nick watching TV from underneath the quilt that Sebastian kept on his leather couch. He smiled at his best friend, and shook his head at the cartoon that was running on the plasma.
"You are pure evil...how dare you dictate the sexual tension that is now rampant in my apartment"
He laughed and stalked over to the fridge, grabbing a yogurt, before striding back over to the couch and joining Nick under the quilt. He slid under the warm Asian designed throw, and pulled Nick's legs on top of his own, laughing at the cartoon network morning program.
"Sleep well enough then?"
He casually asked while eating his morning yogurt.
