Wild-Goose Chase | Dominux
Dominik was not angry. He was unaffected by Pollux’s extracurricular group activities with Lock. No, he was not that petty, he was calm and collected, and he was definitely not going to knock at Pollux’s door. He was going to climb through his window, actually, but hey, technicalities. Once inside, Dom looked around the unfamiliar setting, and headed towards the couch. So that’s where Pollux had pinned his toy down. Part of him wanted to cover the thing in eggshells. Ah! Who was Dominik kidding - all of him wanted to cover the damned thing in damned eggshells, and make sure that -
He turned suddenly when he heard the front door open. Well, now he was actually questioning his thinking. Or rather, his lack of thinking and planning. He was breaking into the house of one of the sons of Zeus. And didn’t he have a brother that lived with him, or something? Bad idea, Dominik. Very bad idea. He looked around, like a deer in the headlights, scrambling for some safety, as he heard the door close, and... He sat down to the couch, crossed his leg over his knee, stretched one arm out over the back of the couch, and just quietly stared at the ceiling as if the cracks in the plaster were the most interesting piece of decoration in the living room. “You need to get that ceiling fixed. I wouldn’t be surprised if your neighbor fell through the ceiling, and, you know... pined you down to the couch, or something.” Smooth, Dominik, a page right out of Lock’s book.
