❝JUST A VISIT❞ | | OLIVER & TEAGAN
Oliver sighed into the silence that filled the car. Teagan had always been stubborn -- since the very first day they met four years ago. It exasperated the hell out of him, but one part of him was also thankful that he had company. He wouldn't dare say such thoughts because they were banned -- in his case.
It was bad luck for him to have come across the girl on his way to the cemetery. He had hoped to leave her there, but his parents favor towards Teagan was obvious to them both. After a few more minutes of driving, he parked the car in front of a cemetery.
The moon lit up the small area of stones left by those that had lost, a small fence lining it. Visitors weren't allowed so late, but Oliver always came at such times due to people not paying attention.
He stepped out of the car, signaling for the girl to follow him. The boy hopped over the fence with ease, not looking back as he knew the girl was strong enough to get over it herself. She would have definitely made a remark if he actually waited for her anyway. The leaves crunched under his feet, his body remembering the way to the specific grave due to many days of practice.
He had asked for a small part of the area to be dedicated to his brother. His blood relative did not lie there but the guilt of not paying his respects at least three times a week ate at him every night. Surprisingly, his request was accepted. Must have been his parents' influence.
Oliver took a seat in front of it, crossing his arms and gazing at the words engraved on the stone. He always came to make sure that it was cleaned, that every part of the tombstone was as beautiful as it could be.
