Seyong didn’t quite know why he took it upon himself to seek out experiments, but here he was. News of the death of a champion was not easy on anyone’s ears. The Government was scrambling to try and set things right, catch the criminal that happened to do it. The rebellion.. He wasn’t quite sure what they would be thinking considering it was a rumour that Lotus was behind it. If the rebellion group was going around killing experiments when they were the ones protesting for peace, then something was surely going haywire.
His commanding general had given him orders not to do anything, but Seyong knew that he couldn’t follow them. The more people that were on the case, the quicker it would be to find out who exactly did this. That wasn’t exactly what he was doing though. Going door to door to find experiments to warn them, that’s what he was doing. Usually this would go against his principles, but with something that could easily become an epidemic, he would have to go against himself this time.
There were too many districts to dissect, but Seyong knew they would target more wealthy areas if they happened to kill again. The void zone was off the list them.
The night was young and the thought of packing in for the day crossed Seyong’s mind. That was until something that could only be described as static hit his ears. Was it static? The noise was slowly turning into something more, words? Almost as if someone was talking to him, whispering in his ear. No, it was much more than that, like they were inside his head. The only logical explanation was because of his power. Something must of been interfering with it, manipulating it. Being dead wrong was a possibility but that was the only thread of logic he could come up with at that moment.
Deadwicks. Whatever it was, he had surely seen the sign before. It never seemed to be open though. The lights were off and there didn’t appear to be anyone inside, or was there? Moving to the entrance he turned the handle, and to his surprise, pushed it open. There must've been someone inside. ‘’Hello?!’’ he shouted out, it sounding more like a question than anything else. It was dark and quite hard to see, whatever Deadwicks was though, he could tell it wasn’t for the ‘average’ human.
