Old Times || Matt & Isaac
Matt sent off a text to Isaac, telling him to come over when he could. He had the pages of the bestiary that Jai had translated sitting on his desk, and he didn't want to look at them alone. If they told him there was no cure or way to break the bond...he wasn't sure what he'd do. And he needed Isaac for this.
It was definitely going to be weird, having Isaac over again. Both his parents were out so they'd avoid the awkward "I haven't seen you since you were a kid!" talk, but still. They used to hang out so much when they were younger, at his house or at Isaac's, and the thought of having him over again just made Matt unreasonably happy. Things weren't going to be like they were before, no way in hell, not with everything that had happened. But it was nice.
He went down to the kitchen and pulled out some sodas and grabbed a bag of chips for snacks. He hoped Isaac would arrive soon. He wanted to get this over with.
