It had been a long and dragged out day for the young red haired girl, her head still throbbing from the previous night's lack of slumber and her eyes not as bright as they usual gave off to be. Bo sighed softly as she gathered her things from her dorm, putting them into an overnight bag to take to Cam's, hoping that he could make the nightmares go away for tonight at least. She knew she could count on him for these types of things, and he was just always there for her while she tried to be there for him. The smaller girl had left not long after she'd gotten her bag in place, walking over to the lilac haired boy's room and giving it a few knocks as she rocked back and forth on her heels.
Faust wanders over to Cameron's dorm to offer him some painkillers and skin cream. They discuss Valentines Day, dating and sexual experience before Faust's abrupt departure.
Faust Elliot-York ran his hand through his hair before knocking sharply on the surface of Cam's door. He looked down at his neat shoes, humming softly to himself for no real reason at all other than perhaps he was overtired. He hadn't had much sleep the night before, his drunken antics and Jillian's company had made sure of that and today had been an event to say the least. He was tired.
Cameron: Hearing a knock on his door, Cam stood up from his desk where he had been sitting with a small pack of ice on the bridge of his swollen nose. Opening up the door to see his friend, he grinned at him happily. "Hey, thanks for coming." he took a step to the side to let the boy in.
Faust Elliot-York raised his eyebrows "Yikes" he said as he took in Cameron's altered appearance "Fixable though" he assured him with a friendly clap on the shoulder as he entered the room. "painkillers" he said, retrieving then bottle "And cream to put on your face" he added, revealing a tube of York's lotion.
Cameron: "Thanks." he chuckled a bit when Faust told him 'Yikes' Did he look that bad? He just hoped the swelling would go down in time for the dance. "Oh man you are a godsend." he smiled at his friend when he held up the bottle of pills. Cam knew he had to be safe with pain meds, if he took too much and slept for too long, he would miss important insulin times. So he decided he would only take one for now. "What does it do?" he asked about the lotion.
Faust Elliot-York smirked at Cam's comment "That's what the ladies say" he said smugly as if he heard the same all the time. He laughed a little "It won't poison you, it's for the scarring" he insisted "It'll help your face to heal more quickly" he added.
Cameron: Cameron rolled his eyes playfully at his friend before taking the small tube of cream from him, "Alright, I'm willing to try it." he walked towards his bed then so he could sit down on it and he motioned for Faust to take a seat on the chair by his desk if he wanted to. As he unscrewed the cap, his eyes noticed a small bruise on his friend's neck and he smirked, "Someone had fun last night..."
Faust Elliot-York tugged at the chair, dragging it toward Cameron's position "Would you like me to apply it for you?" he offered before Cam spoke again. "What?" he asked sharply, his eyes widening and his thick eyebrows lifting, alarmed. Faust was completely unaware of any marks on his skin at that point.
Cameron: "Yeah, sure." he shrugged his shoulders, holding the tube back to his friend to take. Faust's reaction made him chuckle a bit. Had he gotten that drunk that he didn't even remember making out with someone? "You got a hickey, right there." he pointed out to him with his index finger towards his neck.
Faust Elliot-York 's jaw dropped "Oh" he said, touching his hand to his neck, he'd thought for a moment that Cameron had simply seen right through him, that he'd only had to look at Faust to know what had happened the previous night. "It's probably weeks old" he suggested, shrugging his shoulders.
Cameron: Cam tilted his head to the side a bit, confused. What guy wouldn't want to brag and tell his guy friend about his latest conquest? "I haven't gotten very many hickies Faust, but I know a new one when I see it." he smiled at him, "So, who was it?" he asked; excited for some details.
Faust Elliot-York pressed his lips together "Um, Sammy" he said, unscrewing the lid of the cream and squeezing it into his palm "Blonde girl, drinks a lot" he explained, selecting randomly from his assortment of sexual partners. "Close your eyes" he said as he leaned closer to Cam, dipping his finger into the cream before applying it delicately to the bruised and grazed skin.
Cameron Sammy? He hadn't met her yet. "Ah." he nodded a bit before closing his eyes at his friends directions. "Well i'm glad you had fun last night." he smirked at his friend. Feeling slight pressure and some pain, he winced slightly. Thankfully he had a high tolerance for pain and he wasn't too bothered by the touching as it continued.
Faust Elliot-York nodded his head though Cam couldn't see it "She's a real firecracker" he commented, forgetting for a moment who he was speaking about but deciding that the description suited both girls just fine.
Cameron "Yeah, I bet." he chuckled, his eyes still closed. The young sophomore was not nearly as experienced as his older friend, and part of him wanted to ask him what it was like. But he kept that question to himself. He'd find out for himself at some point he was sure.
Faust Elliot-York licked his lips and screwed the lid back onto the tube, casting his eyes downward "What about you and Jillian? How are things there?" he asked nonchalantly "You liked the restaurant I picked out?" he asked, though Cameron had already expressed his gratitude to Faust, for which Faust was pleased.
Cameron opened his eyes once Faust was done. Standing up, he walked towards his desk to look at his reflection in his computer screen. It was nice work. At the mention of Jillian, blush consumed his face and he glanced down shyly at his shoes for a minute. "Things are good." Was all he could think of saying, a big goofy grin on his face just at the thought of her. "Yeah I did, thank you so much." taking a seat back on his bed, he leaned back on his hands a bit. "I just hope I don't make a complete fool out of myself at the dance." he chuckled a bit.
Faust Elliot-York followed Cameron with his eyes and remained seated in his position "What are you so nervous about?" he asked curiously, he supposed that Jillian possessed the ability to come across as intimidating but Faust had long gotten over that.
Cameron ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it as he tried to figure out how to put his feelings into words. "I just don't wanna mess anything up." he finally started, "I like her and I don't want to ruin my chances with her by doing something stupid or messing up somehow."
Faust Elliot-York dragged his chair over to the side of Cameron's bed and chuckled lightly, amused but not mocking "Like what? What sort of thing could you do to mess things up with her?" he asked, raising an eyebrow inquisitively, prepared to soothe Cameron's woes by assuring the boy that Faust had committed worse sins.
Cameron shrugged his shoulders at his question. To be honest, he hadn't really thought about how he'd mess it up, he just worried that he would. "I dunno." he sighed with a shake of his head. "I never really know what to say to her. And when I do talk, I come out sounding like a complete idiot, y'know? I mean has that ever happened to you? where you like someone and you really want them to like you, but you get so nervous that you just start word vomiting?" he asked his friend curiously, wondering if Mr. Smooth Faust ever had had girl troubles.
Faust Elliot-York chuckled and narrowed his eyes slightly "Not exactly, I mean, I'm sure I've sounded stupid but I've never thought so myself" he confessed. He scratched at his throat "I think you worry too much" he said "I mean, why wouldn't she like you?" he said, trying to come at it from his own perspective. Faust didn't believe he gave people reason not to like him, his confidence stemmed from the thought that he was a wonderful person to know. He smiled, fondly "Jillian's easy to talk to, she's cool and funny and playful, she won't judge you nor mock you in any seriousness, just enjoy the time you spend with her, focus on enjoying yourself and you'll loosen up, I'm sure" he said.
Cameron laughed softly at Faust not thinking he ever sounded stupid. That was Faust for you though, very confident in himself. Listening to his friend, he nodded a bit. "I mean I enjoy myself with her. I think I'm just nervous that because it's for a dance and Valentine's Day - there is gonna be all this extra added pressure. Pressure that we don't really need and I don't want her to feel like I'm expecting anything jsut because it's Valentine's Day." Cameron finished before standing up and walking to his mini fridge to get a bottle of water, "Want one?" he offered his friend.
Faust Elliot-York smiled to himself shaking his head "Don't think of it that way, it's just a day out of the year, you should be giving her your absolute best every day, regardless of whether there's a holiday or not" he advised, crossing his legs and tucking his hands into his lap in a dapper fashion. He nodded his head to confirm that he did in fact want a bottle of water, he hadn't realized it but he was parched. "She obviously likes you, Cam, that's the hardest step and you've leaped over it" he said with a chuckle.
Cameron shook his head, "I didn't mean I'm not giving her my best every day. I'm just saying that I hope there isn't all this awkward pressure because its Valentines Day." Cam explained to him, realizing that he hadn't been very clear about what he had meant. Grabbing his friend a bottle, he handed it to him as he took a seat back on his bed and twisted the cap off of his drink. "Leaped over it?" he laughed a bit, surprised that it had been able to make her like him that quickly.
Faust Elliot-York unscrewed the lip of his water bottle "Don't let it get to you, I'm sure it'll be fantastic" he insisted "She loves going out, she loves the romance of Paris so French food is ideal, she loves red wine, she loves the West End, you'll have a blast, I just know it" he said warmly. He laughed a little "As far as I can tell" he said "Great kisser, great looking is what she told me" he explained "And you make her laugh, you flatter her, you make her happy" he added.
Cameron: nodded as Faust listed off things she liked. "Red wine, French food; got it." he made a mental note to himself. "I gotta get myself a fake ID then so I can order that wine." he thought to himself aloud, pursing his lips a bit in thought as to where he might be able to get one. His friends comments made him blush but smile as well. Jillian told him that? "I um... well that's always nice to hear." The smile would not leave his face as he replayed Faust's words in his mind.
Faust Elliot-York chuckled "Well Jill is eighteen, not that she ever gets asked for ID" he added, he'd gone out with Jill on many occasions and they had never run into any trouble in that respect. He nodded his head "Of course it is, see? You're in the green, my friend, you just need a little more confidence" he teased affectionately.
Cameron nodded, remembering that the age requirement for alcohol consumption was different here than it was in the states. "Oh right, I forgot. You don't have to be twenty-one here." he murmured to himself before taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah... I just don't have a lot of experience with this is all." he shrugged when Faust kindly explained that he needed more confidence.
Faust Elliot-York nodded his head "It took me a little while to lock that in too" he confessed, tapping his temple lightly. He scratched at his cheek "Nor have I" he admitted almost a little shyly "Actually, Kaity Moore was the first girlfriend I'd ever had and I went on a date for the first time just this year" he said and shrugged. "I learn as I go and you will too, I'm sure" he added.
Cameron laughed a bit, "Glad I'm not the only one." he smiled before his mouth dropped open a bit. He hadn't been on a date till this year? Man that was crazy. "Well you must be a fast learner..." he smirked, gesturing to the hickey once more. "Are you and Kaity still cool though?" he asked him curiously, tilting his head to the side a bit.
Faust Elliot-York shrugged "Dating is easy, dressing nicely, being charming, taking a girl out to a nice place, that's baby stuff" he insisted "Being a good boyfriend is hard but I have a funny feeling that you won't have any trouble with that at all" he told him honestly. He nodded his head "We are, she's one of my best friends in the whole wide world" he said sincerely "I love her with all my heart, we just didn't work" he confessed, excluding Jillian's role in the whole ordeal.
Cameron nodded a bit, "I've had one girl, back home. That was my freshmen year though." Cameron explained to him before finishing off his drink, "It was fine and all. Until she just got weird and clingy." he shivered a bit at the thought. "That's good, I'm glad you guys are able to still be friends." Cam gave him a warm smile.
Faust Elliot-York pressed his lips together and nodded his head "So um, what's the deal with you...uh, being a virgin and everything?" he asked curiously "Is that a-a religious thing or?"he asked, his eyebrows lifting inquisitively.
Cameron: *one girlfriend
Cameron was completely taken by surprise with Faust's blunt question. His eyebrows shot up in response and for a minute his jaw just hung there. He wasn't upset at the question by any means, just shocked. "what? No it's not religious." he shook his head, "It just hasn't happened yet is all." he added in after a moment. "I uh, I had thought about having sex with Lori, my ex-girlfriend. But things went downhill before that happened. So it just hasn't happened or anything." scratching the back of his neck awkwardly he asked, "A sixteen year old boy who's a virgin doesn't happen a lot these days, huh?" he chuckled a bit, awkwardly.
Faust Elliot-York nodded his head "Pardon me if I've come off a little strong at all, I was only curious...I mean, you're a nice looking guy, puberty has treated you well and all that" he said honestly "But I understand that" he said nodding his head "And you know, it's not that unusual, not even at Monarch" he assured but didn't name any names.
Cameron laughed, shaking his head when he apologized. "No I don't mind the question." the brunette reassured his friend before smiling at his compliment. "Thanks, I'm pretty glad it went well too." he joked with the boy before explaining, "It'll happen. I'm not gonna force it or try and go searching for it to happen. It'll happen when it's time for it to. I'm not one of those people who thinks I need to get laid just to prove I'm a man or whatever. I'm cool with just sitting back and letting things happen as they will."
Faust Elliot-York smiled at the revelation, he couldn't agree more "Wise decision, my good man" he announced with a single nod of his head as his cellphone buzzed in his pocket. He checked the message quickly, raising his eyebrows and trying not to smirk as he responded quickly and slipped his cell phone away one more. "You don't have to prove anything to anybody here, they'll try and make you think that you do but you most certainly do, you've already made friends with the best sort of people" he teased arrogantly with a grin.
Cameron nodded just a bit and opened his mouth to say something but Faust's phone went off. Figuring it was Sammy, he gave his friend a knowing grin and wiggled his brows at him playfully. "Best sort of people. Oh you mean the lunch lady? yeah she's cool." he joked with his friend, playing it off as if he had no idea Faust was talking about himself.
Faust Elliot-York forced a look in return, what the hell was Cameron grinning for? he thought but decided to play along, Faust owed the boy that much. Faust rolled his eyes "Oh and you're so witty too" he mocked, stretching his legs out and resting his feet comfortably atop the end of Cameron's bed. "You know what I mean" he insisted. His phone buzzing again, encouraging him to laugh softly before he discarded his phone once more. "So um, how far have you gotten...exactly?" he asked curiously, interested in the juicy details as he shuffled closer to his young companion.
Cameron stifled a yawn as best as he could, knowing that scrunching up his nose was going to be painful. But the yawn came anyways and he had to close his eyes for a minute to get over the pain before he was able to talk once more. "I like to think so." he joked back at the witty comment. It was awkward for Cam, to sit here and tell Faust just what he had and had not done with a girl. He guessed that they were close enough, but it was still an odd feeling to him. "Third base." he answered simply. He would ask Faust, but he already knew the answer to that.
Faust Elliot-York shrugged his shoulders "It's better than nothing, huh?" he said, trying to be positive. He couldn't help but consider things, wonder if Cam would be able to keep up with Jillian. It made him smirk, amused by the mere thought. "You'll be fine" he said and shrugged again.
Cameron looked up at him, confused. What did he mean it was better than nothing? Cam hadn't meant to say it in a way that was complaining. "Yeah, of course. I didn't mean to make it sound like I wasn't happy with it. Each time had been really good." Cam spoke before tilting his head to the side in confusion at his next comment. "Be fine? You mean when it comes to sex?" Did Faust think he was worried about whether or not he'd be good in bed? Sure everyone got nervous and Cam knew he would too, but he had done enough things to know that he'd be able to make a girl enjoy themselves. "You think I'm super innocent and shy when it comes to sex, don't you?" he asked with an amused smile on his face.
Faust Elliot-York laughed a little and shook his head "Maybe that came out wrong, I just mean to say that you're in a good position...I'm sort of glad to hear that you're not totally inexperienced" he confessed. He raised his eyebrows "Or good" he corrected and shrugged "I don't know" he said, he didn't mean it to sound condescending. He blushed and shook his head "God, I sound like an asshole, I swear I don't mean it...I have faith in you, I'm sure you know your way around" he insisted.
Cameron shook his head, "it's fine don't worry about it." he reassured him. "People find out I'm a virgin and they think I've never done anything in my life. Common misconception really." he chuckled a bit. "You're fine Faust." Cam told his friend and then smiled a bit when his cell went off yet again. "If someone needs you, you can go." Cam offered him the ability to leave, figuring whoever was texting him so much needed to talk to him.
Faust Elliot-York shook his head "No, no, I-well, it's just that- I- I suppose I haven't been a virgin for...quite some time and I'm not sure that I know any virgins who aren't, you know...a little lost when it comes to this sort of thing" he said with a playful chuckle. "Oh" he said, glancing down at his cell "I...yeah, somebody needs me" he said, nodding his head and standing. "You can keep the cream" he added with a smile.
Cameron shrugged, "I get what you mean. It's okay." he smiled before standing up when Faust explained he had to go. "Thanks man. I really appreciate it." he smiled at his friend warmly, "I mean obviously for the cream and all that. But uh... you know, being cool with Jill and I. It's um... it's really mature of you and I appreciate it." Cam gave him a grin, meaning every word he told the young male.
Faust Elliot-York narrowed his eyes slightly, he had desperately hoped that Cameron wouldn't say anything like that, anything so sweet and harmless and unintentionally made to make Faust feel like an absolute dick head. He pressed his lips together and offered Cameron a handshake goodbye "I appreciate that you appreciate it, my good man" he announced, forcing a smile before turning on his heel to leave, waving Cameron another goodbye over his shoulder before he departed, in a bit of a hurry at this point.
The last few days couldn't have gone worse in all honesty, at least that's what it felt like to the small red haired girl laying in her bed. Each day she woke with four white walls surrounding her, each feeling like they were closing in with each passing day. From when she'd been attacked and abused in her dorm leading up to now, she hadn't caught a break. Bo had thought Marvin was her anchor, and when she needed him most was when he'd finally decided to move on from her, something that was almost too painful to think of in that moment. It felt as if he had punched a hole through her heart and couldn't mend itself, and a broken heart was always quite unbearable in any way. She had told the nurses she didn't want any visitors until further notice, didn't want anyone to see the mess she was now--just completely broken.
The small girl rose from her laying position on the bed and glanced around, reaching to put at least a single foot on the floor. It was only when she tried that she winced in pain, biting down on her bottom lip as tears brimmed her eyes. All she could think about was leaving but, at the same time she had nowhere to go. Her original home could barely be called such a thing with the mistreatment she'd gotten from her stepdad and mother, and her own dorm was just a memory of how she ended up in the hospital in the first place. Bo took her place back in bed as she exhaled a shaky sigh, wiping her eyes and refusing to cry anymore over people that didn't care for her, or for anyone at all. She held her arms, shivering from the coldness of the room and not being fully protected by it in the hospital gown she'd had on. Upon hearing the door creak open, Bo quickly turned to it nervously. "I--I said no visitors.." She could barely whisper out, biting her bottom lip soon after.
The moon always looked particularly beautiful when it was full, he thought, looking out at it from Katherine’s basement. The dark winter sky seemed to set off the brightness of the full moon, making it appear almost ethereal. It had been threatening to rain all day, the sky a dark grey colour and the faint rumble of thunder in the distance. Never being one to surrender to a threat, he’d gone about his business, waiting, hoping, yearning for the night to come. Not that he’d ever admit it to anyone. For Peter Hale didn’t like the full moon, no, not at all. He loved it. He relished in the power that the transformation brought upon him. Being a powerful alpha, he had the chance to supress the need of the change, but he never did. Why would he want to stay cooped up at home, stopping the transformation, when he could be out in the woods, enjoying the extra power that the moon brought. He was at his strongest then and he never wanted to waste it.
It was only a while later that the bones in his back began to shift. He could feel each bone cracking and crunching against the next and it sent him writhing on the floor. Sweat dripped down his bare back, his body slowly and agonizingly beginning to shift. He could feel his arms bending unnaturally and the strange numb yet unbearable sensation of broken bones. It was what every other werewolf would be experiencing, yet there was a difference with Peter. While other werewolves would curse the full moon and scream in agony, he was silent. For he relished in the pain that the transformation brought, each broken bone brought him closer to his wolf self. The part of him that was stronger and fiercer than his human self. The transformation was a small price to pay for being a werewolf and one that he was more than willing to pay.
He let out a loud, fierce howl as the transformation ended. His eyes quickly adjusted to the basement that he had been locked in and he growled; the sound low in his throat. Peter had refused the chains that Katherine had offered him, telling her that if she tried to chain him up, he would bite her, the threat seemed to settle that. However the door was locked, though it wasn’t much of a problem for the alpha. Growling once more, Peter barged through the door, smashing the sturdy wooden door into splinters with his strength. He set off into a brisk run, his paws beating against the ground as he headed towards the woods. It was there that he knew he could find other werewolves and perhaps even a few hunters. Maybe tonight would be the night that he would get his revenge.
However his thoughts of thorough plans filled with excruciating pain for the Argents were interrupted by a noise. It was a pained growl which seemed more of a whimper. Some idiotic werewolf was in trouble. Peter cocked his ear, listening carefully to the noise and then rolled his eyes, his tongue waggling between his fangs. He recognized that idiotic werewolf and knew that he’d have to get him out of trouble.
Tori had been excited to spend time with someone other than herself. Of course inside the room she had talked with Maya, but she had to walk the streets of New York City alone and it was a total bust. She was proud that she was finally making friends, even though Tori never really had a problem with making friends in the first place. Her eyes drifted to the mirror as she glanced down at her outfit, she wanted to make sure she didn't disappoint him. Tori had never been this nervous about meeting someone ever, it was the first friend she was making on this boat and she didn't want to screw that up. Not yet at least.
She grabbed hold of the map that she had picked up after class yesterday and took a look trying to find the lobby. Her eyes came across a big red star which she knew would be the symbol to represent the lobby, she grabbed her phone and put her bag over her shoulder closing the door behind her. As she followed the directions in front of her she couldn't help but think of what today could possibly consist of, she was hoping that Cam didn't turn out to be one of those jerks just like every other guy she knew. Finally she stopped as she recognized the place she had first come when entered the boat, "thank god" she whispered to herself thankful she didn't make herself look lame and end up on the other side of the boat. She glanced around not noticing Cam, moved aside and started playing on her phone, waiting for him to arrive.
