Shopping Spree || Michael + Olivia

“So I just wanted to let you know I took your advice,” Michael smirked at his cousin as they walked, with his arm linked in hers as he sipped on his iced coffee. “Not going to go into any details but things are looking like they are back on track. So just know that you helped... so thank you,” he hummed. “But anyway, where do we start? You’re the expert here,” Mike said, giving his cousin a mock bow. When he had asked for her help, he knew they would go all out with this, and Olivia didn’t kid when it came to shopping. Sure, he did tag along with Morgan when she went shopping but it didn’t mean he knew what he was doing.

Sad Snakes || Tami and Sol

Normally Sol didn’t care about reading The Prophet. She would much rather eat her food in peace, but then Tami was dropping her fork and Sol’s interest was piqued. “Okay...” Sol watched Tami leave and then decided to take a peek at what Tami read that made her get up. That was when her heart fell to her stomach.

Sol didn’t leave a buffet before getting her fill for just anybody, but for Tami she left behind a half eaten plate and quickly ran to try to find her. She managed to catch a glimpse of her turning the corner and she followed suit. Sol figured she had gone into the bathroom but she paused before entering. What did she know about comforting someone? What if she just made everything worse? Despite her worries Sol opened the door gently and walked in. “Tami?” she asked quietly. Sol saw her on the floor and sat down next to her. “I’m so sorry, Tami.” Even if Sol didn’t follow to news she knew how much was counting on Dufort.

Notes: Avery comes clean to Jamie what went down between her and Eoin. It was the right thing to do.

Avery knew that she needed to tell Jamie this. She had been avoiding it for a week, but she knew that she needed to do it. She wasn’t for sure where Eoin and her were going, but she didn’t want to string him along. She rubbed her hands together as she talked to herself to tell him. Once she arrived at his front door, she rose her knuckle and knocked.

Jamie was sitting at home working on his article which he had finally finished interviewing people for, and he was excited for people to read it. As he did that, he was confused when he heard a knock at his door, but he smiled as he walked to the door and opened it to see Avery standing there. He smiled, “Well hello, surprised but happy to see you here.” He smiled as he gestured for her to come in.

Avery gave him a smile before she entered his place. “Hey you, good.” She replied as she slipped her hands into her pockets and waited for him to close the door. “Uhm, can we talk?”

Jamie sensed the tone of her voice when she asked to talk and could tell it was something serious and he was worried, but he also tried to stay calm, “Okay, yeah we can talk.” He smiled softly as he walked to the couch in his apartment and took a seat.

Avery sat down across from him and placed her hands together, letting out a breath, remembering how it was Eoin and her in this position a month ago. “I.” She started to say but closed her mouth, not sure how to say this since she was the receiving end of this last time. “God, why is this so hard.” She placed her face in her hands and looked back at him. “Eoin kissed me the other night I. And I kissed him back.” She rubbed her hands along her thighs as she looked at him.

Jamie sat there looking at the girl on the sofa, he listened to the girl speak and as he listened, he felt like he was just getting crushed, he understood things didn’t always go peoples ways and that he had to understand that no matter what his heart was saying he had to understand but he wanted to cry but knew that probably wouldn’t help. He knew Avery well enough to know this wasn’t easy for her to do so he tried to be as calm as he could. “Oh.“ He said quietly looking down for a moment, "Okay, well…” He sighed, why couldn’t he speak, “I guess. That’s fine, I understand, and I am not going to lie, it hurts a little bit.” He sighed looking at her for a moment as he twiddled his thumbs for a moment

Avery nodded slightly, swallowed a bit as she stayed where she was and licked her lips a bit. “Yeah….” She said softly as she continued to rub her hands against her legs, as she tried to keep her tears at bay. “I’m, sorry Jamie. I really am and I know it kind of came out of nowhere, believe me. It did, it’s just. I still have feelings for him, and I don’t want to string you along.” She paused a bit. “I understand if you need some time and I’d be more than happy to give it to you, but I wanted to tell you before anything else happens between Eoin and me.”

Jamie sat there, he felt lost, he didn’t know this was going to happen, he hadn’t expected this but then he also thought when had anyone liked him back when he liked them. He nodded, “I understand, and I do hope that things work out for you two then.” He said looking at her, “I think if I am going to get over these feelings, I am going to need some space for a while, I don’t think I will just be able to get over them.” He said quietly looking down for a moment trying to hold it together.

Avery could feel her heartbreaking, feeling horrible and shrugged a bit. “I, don’t know if he has feelings for me in return.” She said softly as she looked at him. She nodded as she agreed, wanting anything more than to hug him but she knew better. “Which is, understandable and I’ll give you some space, for sure.” She paused a bit and stood up. “For, what it’s worth, I really did enjoy New Year’s Eve with you, and I hope you’ll find someone who makes you truly happy.” She added as she felt a tear roll down her cheek before she headed towards the door, knowing that she couldn’t stay around any longer, even though she wanted to give him a hug.

Jamie sat there, he tried to stay strong because no matter what the girl was a really good friend and losing that would be horrible, so she had to accept that sometimes these things don’t work out, “Who couldn’t have feelings for you Avery?” He asked looking over at her and nodded, “I did enjoy it too. And maybe one day I will.” He sighed as she ran a hand through his hair for a moment.

Avery shrugged a bit. “It’s, a long story Jamie.” She said as she looked at him. “I have a feeling it’s going to happen soon.” She opened the door before she swallowed. “Bye, Jamie.” She let out a breath before she left the guy’s place, feeling her heartbreak even a bit more.

Jamie sat there looking over at her as she got up, he watched her leave and bit her lip, “Bye Avery.” He sat there as she walked away and placed his head in his hands for a moment.

Stiles was happy. He was really fucking happy.

He still couldn’t believe that he’d already enjoyed two dates with Derek fucking Hale. The most gorgeous guy he’d ever known, who was way out of his league and apparently liked him enough to put up with his awkwardness. Scott and Lydia would be hearing about it all weekend, because Stiles would never get over this. 

To be honest, he never though Derek would accept the first time he asked him out. Stiles was pretty sure that he didn’t even know he existed until that day, but apparently he was so wrong.

“I had a really good time,” he muttered when they stopped right at Derek’s doorstep, wondering if kissing him right there would be moving too fast. After all, Derek was kind of shy, or so Stiles assumed because of the way he acted all evening. Or maybe he was expecting Stiles to take the first step, something he’d gladly do. “I really like you, Derek,” was the last thing he said before his hands grabbed the taller man by the waist and pulled him closer, claiming his mouth with a kinda rough kiss, throwing caution to the wind. Stiles wanted to kiss this man until their lips couldn’t take it anymore, and the only one able to stop him was right there in his arms.

Thanksgiving bonding || Sebcedes

Mercedes sat on the couch with Sebastian. It was funny that they’d left New York all she wanted to do was watch the Thanksgiving parade on tv this morning. As they watched she rested her head on his shoulder, her attention wavering as more and more she wanted to pay less attention to the television and more to his lips. No one was awake yet. Late night preparing food, and just hanging out had most of her family with a late start. Scooting closer to him, she lifted her head and her lips gently caressed along his jawline. “Can I have a kiss?” she looked up at him with her best and most innocent facade on, knowing that maybe he could possibly be worried that her dad could walk in at anytime. Though she asked, she didn’t wait for an answer as her lips touched his. She had a question in mind to ask him, or maybe she has two questions in mind but she wanted him to be relaxed and distracted when she asked.

Guy’s Night|| Puckbastian [5.11.15]

For most of the month, hell, most of the pregnancy, Puck hadn’t left Lizzie’s side much except for to go to work, but he was promptly home when he was off shift. The time had grown near, and he knew that any moment the baby would come. Puck simply waited anxiously for the dude’s arrival. With family practically taking over their little place and taking over his job of looking after Lizzie his mother had all but shoved him out the door to get some fresh air. She promised him that if Lizzie had so much as one contraction, she’d call him. So Puck took that opportunity to take Seb up on that beer and hang out before parenthood took over his life and he had to get into Dad mode. He’d texted Seb earlier that day to see if he was still up for a drink and Puck headed to the little hole in the wall bar that didn’t even have a name, but resided on Manhattan Avenue. It had the absolute best bar tenders and it was a chill place to relax. After his and Lizzie’s miscarriage of their first baby, this place had been his solace. But now it was just a cool place to hang on occasion. Truth be told, once his son was born, he didn’t know how much he’d get to see this place. Or how much he’d wanna see it. His mind would always be on his little man and if he was okay. Even know his mind was on his wife and kid. He picked up his phone as he waited for Seb to arrive and called Sarah. “Hey…Adorable okay?” he asked his younger sister in hushed tones as Lizzie or his mother could hear him calling to check in. He could practically visualize Sarah’s eye roll. “Noah…dude…she’s fine! She’s good. We’d call you if not. So…chill the fuck out. Don’t call us. We’ll call you!” Sarah promptly hung up, which caused Puck to frown and heave a sigh, ordering a beer to keep himself busy and kind of occupied.

Surprise Surprise| Karrow

Quinn flew around the kitchen pulling out random ingredients and constantly checking the food on the stove. He felt like the worst person in the world after asking her to bail him out and wanted to apologize to her for it. The table was set and the noodles were in the pot all he needed now was to find a sauce recipe that wasn't completely terrible.

He looked through all the books he had picked up from the bookstore until he found the right one. "Got it." He pulled the ingredients out and started cooking, hoping it would be ready by the time Kailee got there.

Sporty sleepover || Jordan & Stiles

Stiles packed his running shoes, some clothes for the next day into his backpack and stuffed his phone charger in it as well before he closed it and walked out of his room. His dad knew where he was going to stay the night and was okay with it. He had told him he shouldn't mess up Jordan, but Stiles wasn't worried about that right now. He was quite happy with the deputy and he was pretty sure that Jordan would tell him if he wasn't happy with something between them.

He got into his car and drove over to Jordan's place. After a second glance at his car and if he had everything he got out and walked up to the door. He knocked and leaned against the doorframe, waiting for Jordan to open for him. He had a small smile on his face and was excited for their evening and night together.
