Drew some Mario characters.
Specifically the ones I like to play in Mario Super Sluggers (which is such an underrated game, I STG).
Here they all are individually.

My Unofficial Goomba Bio
Goombas are stalwart mushroom monsters native to the Mushroom Kingdom. Many of which used to live there but now reside in the Koopa Kingdom. This is because they betrayed the Mushroom Kingdom when they side with Bowser in his first attempted conquest of the Mushroom Kingdom. Many believe these traitors deserve no mercy.
Goombas are loyal subjects of Bowser who use a variety of tactics to fight, they learn about in Goomba Boot Camp. From biting, to bunting, powerful headbonks, or simply charging into the enemy's feet to trip them up. These melee units of the Koopa Troop use their techniques and speed to take down their opponents. Even as the grunts of the Koopa Troop they aren't weak, a single Goomba can break a boulder with a headbonk; or even accidentally give the King of the Koopas himself amnesia.
But of course they are easy to take down with a single well timed stomp, something they are used to. Heck even their own allies even accidentally flatten them. But this doesn't stop them as they never give up no matter how many times they get stomped on. They also hope to one day turn the tables of the pesky plumbers.
Of course not all Goombas are evil or are aligned with Bowser overall. In fact not every Goomba sided with Bowser, For example, the Goombas of Goomba village chose to side with the Mushroom Kingdom, and they do not like the Goombas that work for Bowser. Other friendly Goombas include the likes of Goombella, Toad's friend Goomba, the Goomba in Shroom City, the Goombos, and the Goombas from Mario Land. Other Goombas that generally cause trouble or do their own thing are the Goombas of Rogueport. There is also the Wild Goombas which are kinda weird, some can be found in Goomba Woods.
Outside of that, Goombas have a large variety of variants and related species.
Paragoombas are the most common variant, and are flying units in the Turtle Tribe. Paragoombas use the various tactics the standard Goomba uses such as bunting, as well as their own special cranium crush they do with a spin. They typically undergo airborne training to learn how to better soar through the sky. But like many para troops, a good stomp can cause these wings to fall off turning them into normal Goombas.
Gloombas are a blue variant of the Goombas that like to live in dark places. They are strictly found underground and can even be found in the tunnels of Toad Town. They also have a strict all-mushroom diet.
Bone Goombas are appear to be Gloombas or an undead variant of Goomba who wear a skull helmet. This helmet is possible made from the skeletal remains of other Goombas.
Spiked Goombas are Goombas that wears a spiked shell on it;s head to protect themselves from anyone trying to stomp them, their ultimate antistomping technology. This is similar to the Goombeetles that wear a mere helmet.
Ghost Goombas are simply Goombas that are now ghosts. The only ones that have been seen so far are friends of Mario.
Micro-Goombas or Mini Goombas were once suggested to be the children of Paragoombas. They are usualy are dropped by Paragoombas and cling on to their enemies to weigh them down. They also like hiding in brick blocks as Pile Drivers. They also seem to have a connect Thwomps and their variants, and they might be the origin of the stone ghosts that guard Bowser's castles.
Chuboombas are tough large variant of Goombas that carry around hard candies,
Gritty Goombas are Goombas from sandy areas wrapped up like mummies, and have spears to make their headbutts more powerful.
Big Goombas are merely Goombas that have been made big either through magic or eating Super Mushrooms, and they usually split into smaller Goombas upon being stomped on for some reason.
Speaking of power-ups, the Tail and Cat Goombas are merely Goombas who have used a Super Leaf or Cat Bell to power up. Overall they are able to use all kinds of power-ups like Super Stars, with some limitations such as not being able to use caps.
Tanoombas are Goombas from the Beanbean Kingdom, which aren't to be confused with Tail Goombas.
Hyper Goombas are crazy uncivilized Goombas with a yellowish-green appearance. They are the hyperactive more powerful verison of your typical Goomba.
Goombrats are a species that not much is known about. They happen to like going for strolls in the forest.
A bonus mention, Goombobs now known as Galoombas are that resemble Goombas but are not Goombas. Their inclusion here is because of their visual similarities and the fact not much is known about them. Overall they are often mistaken for Goombas, but unlike Goombas they don't get flatten by merely being stomped on.
One final thing to note is Goombas can come in other colors such as red, blue, and even pink. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper
Woe, Goombasona be upon ye!
Please meet Rosewater the Paragoomba. As stated in the reference image, she is a customer service tech at a power company headquartered in Mushroom City. She wants to do more programming in her job and her manager keeps telling her that they will keep her in mind when there is an opening... any day now...
She usually carries her laptop with her, which she uses for work, recreation, and Tattling if needed. Perhaps she could be the obligatory first Goomba partner in a Paper Mario RPG? If she was her name would probably be Goombita instead, but I am beholden to no such Nintendo rules.
Her laptop is a Tiptop from the Tiptronic brand of computer equipment, and is handy because it is waterproof and Rosewater has a bad habit of drinking coffee and other beverages too close to it. Tiptops are advertised as waterproof to be used anywhere, even under the sea, but there are rumors that the real origin of the thorough waterproofing was because the CEO of Tiptronic was so sweaty he was breaking company equipment.
Rosewater was born a male Goomba, and makes no secret of that. She takes estrogen (for girl) and parasterine (for wings) and both have made her life immeasurably better. Her lopsided eyebrow is not for style, it grows in that way and she has never been quite sure why.
During sports season she watches exclusively when Rosalina is on. She cares about sports at no other times.
This is the fault of @freakattack who posted a fun poll which caused me to come up with the base concept for Rosewater on the spot and she has sat dormant in my head ever since until she was ready to be fleshed out. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Great, now I'm curious as to what Mario would look like in armor.
AND THE FIRST ACTUAL SILLYNESS IM GONNA POST HERE are these
