Political Marriage TLDR
I won't go into too much detail in this post, I'll probably make a long post where I explain the story in full soon, for now I'll just go over the basics. Feel free to ask about anything in my ask box if you're curious about any aspect of it though!
Political Marriage is an au where, you guessed it, there is a political marriage in between Ludwig Von Koopa and a parakoopa oc ("That's rather cringe innit bruv" I know ;;^;;) named Celest.
The arrangement is set in place to prevent a war between their two kingdoms(Dark Land and a floating nomad cloud kingdom mostly populated by parakoopas and other flying species), strengthen military alliances and resources. Ludwig is forced into this by Bowser whilst Celest takes one for the team to protect her mothers’s (two other characters I'll explain later) kingdom.
Neither of them are truly thrilled with the idea of this, as their vastly different cultures, viewpoints, and personalities clash with one another, but they slowly warm up to each other and actually develop a relationship by the end of things.
In the meantime though, the slow burn is real and Ludwig despises Celest + the whole situation he is in, whilst Celest tries to find the bright in it all, but even her patience runs thin with him during this.
I'd like to extend a sincere apology to my friend @thecrypticshyguy that for the past few months has been caged in hell with me in various calls and art sessions of me rambling about this.
