WHAT AN ANNOYING BOSS FIGHT
Parallect is a comic that tells the story of a world where angels and demons not only exist but quite often interact with the world around them. In particular, we seem to be following the story of a Demon Overlord named Cruxia Astaroth Malitrus who we seem to see making a deal in the beginning of this sort of prologue turned quickly into a time skip.
Our story opens with a kingdom being completely overrun by bandits, looting and pillaging like their lives depended on it. A solitary knight manages to sneak through, having hidden like a coward while his brothers at arms fought. Looking for his king the knight falls through a weak floor and tumbles into some cavern where Cruxia sits, having freshly healed our young ward. A deal is made and his soul is promptly consumed to complete the contract. Five hundred years later we discover that not only has the Demon Overlord been sealed, but there are also some circumstances between her and a Seraph of heaven that have hints of some very interesting backstory.
This story itself is already interesting as it is, Heaven and Hell duking it out is a tale as old as history itself after all, but it also has its own appeal with certain aspects. For example, there is one scene later in the comic where Cruxia asks a younger angel what level she is and he just sees a flaming skull. I don’t know about you but I’ve played plenty of games where a skull marker meant certain death. The frustration is very real, but I can also see why she finds it funny.
The art style has this cartoony feel to it while also having dark more sinister scenes. It really shows how much effort the creator is putting into this comic to make it unique. I really hope this comic continues for a long while so we get to see the style evolve and change as well as get more of those creepy scenes I love so much.
What else to say besides give it a read, let me know what you think. It has all the makings of a top-notch story, all it needs is to get a few more updates under its belt and it will be a damn good read anytime. It has been updating since 2013, but hasn’t gotten a new page since June. Go leave some encouraging comments, I know I’m always happy when I get the odd word from you guys.
And, as always, I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

One last post XD
Did this experiment of a painting style recently and I have been liking it. On the other hand, I’ve been trying to improve my lineart. So why not work on both on one character? : P
I still need to get shading right XD
Sergeal belongs to Cruxia.
I’ve been wanting to draw Cruxia’s character for a long time. Finally decided to actually Do That. Cruxia belongs to @cruxia Her web comic is Parallect.
Here’s a fanart to @cruxia in hopes she kept her promisse to that little dude :p (Highly unlikelly). But hey, I grew fond of the kid.
Hope you dig it Crux! Parallect is turning out cooler and cooler! Congrats on the Front Page!
