A snap shot of last week's Royal Reception with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. Athletes from Team GB, Paralympics GB and the EOC Refugee Team came together to meet the King and the Princess Royal following the successes of Paris 2024 Games.

I'm settled in to watch the Paralympics Opening Ceremony, looking forward to this!

How to watch in the UK:

Channel 4 is showing the Opening Ceremony now and 4seven is showing the Opening Ceremony with Live Signing.

There is coverage every day from 08.00 to 23.30 (with a half hour break for the 6pm news).

More4 is showing the team sports specifically from 09.00 to 21.00.

There will be up to 18 live feeds broadcasting on the Channel 4 sport YouTube daily.

NEW WORK: And into the room walks the King, calm as can be, holding what I can only assume is a G&T. Smooth. As always, a huge thanks to those at Team GB and the The Royal Family or incredible access in Buckingham Palace this week. The King and the Queen Consort host a reception at Buckingham Palace for medalists of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games & the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
