Bird? Bat? (Not sure if this would be a ghost story but it's a story that's a little creepy) Not sure what age I would have been when this happened, I know I was very young but the the memory is still clearer than anything. I slept on the top bunk of mine and my sisters bed and the beds faced the bedroom door, the door was one of those doors that have a window above the door to let light in or whatever. My two sisters who I shared a room with were fast asleep and I was lay in bed trying to sleep, when I saw something black fly at the window I was convinced it was a bird and was upset because I thought it was hurt because it flew into the window pretty hard so I got out of bed opened the door and started looking for a bird eventually my parents came up stairs to ask me to get into bed but I didn't want to stop looking I was confused at why there was no bird, I told my parents what had happened and they laughed at me and said something along the lines of "you have always had great imagination nikki, we would know if a bird was in the house. Go back to bed and get some rest" so I did and I look back at the window and there was a circle smudge mark on the window were something hit it, I spent the next few weeks trying to convince my family it was real and the next few years starting at the mark with confusion.
