On September 24, 2012, a rockslide crashed down onto the Via Dell’Amore. Eight years later, the rocks are still there. The intervening years have been filled with promises, political propaganda, feasibility studies, announcements, executive projects, inaugurations and daily inquiries from visitors wanting to know why this trail is still closed. EIGHT YEARS. Is it incompetence? Menefreghismo? Or is it something much more sinister? We don’t know what to tell people.
