Moonlight Dahlia There, at the base of the trunk, nestled between two large roots, is a car seat and in it, a baby. Stiles and Peter both freeze, staring down in shock. The baby is asleep, bundled up tightly, a soft orange wool hat on its head and an envelope pinned to its blanket. Stiles stares at Peter incredulously, but he doesn't know what to say either.

Halloween Traditions Dahlia is dressed in a poufy orange pumpkin costume and Stiles thinks it's the cutest fucking thing he's ever seen. Dahlia had declared she'd wanted to be a pumpkin for Halloween and Kira had immediately made the costume for her. With her orange tights and bright green stem beret-style hat on top of her soft, brown hair, she's the best pumpkin ever. Considering she's his daughter, Stiles may be a little biased.

Imagine Stiles and Derek adopting a young autistic child and they’re really scared about a lot of things and struggle to adjust, but they do like dogs and are thrilled to pieces when Derek fully shifts into his wolf form and watches over their new family member.

Liam's blatant dislike makes Scott sad, but he can also understand bc Liam is tiny and Stiles is the only parent he's ever had, and he can see why it would feel like Stiles is ignoring him. He's still always very nice to Liam and puts up with it even when Liam is horrible. Stiles, meanwhile, is less than amused and maybe doesn't handle it quite as well the longer it goes on.

He doesn’t mean to yell but it just comes out. He knows he’s completely out of line. That Liam doesn’t completely understand but he knows his son is smart enough to realize he’s misbehaving. And when tears well up in his eyes and he runs to his room crying Stiles knows he’s fucked up royally. And Scott just quietly watched as Stiles nearly burst into tears himself. 

“He’s just a kid Stiles.”

“I know that!” He snaps and instantly regrets it. “Look. I just…I want to be happy. I love Liam. He’s been the center of my universe since he was first placed in my arms. I would die for him, I’d do anything to make him happy but I just-” Stiles sighs and flops into the kitchen chair. “He’s been awful ever since we’ve started dating.”

“He doesn’t want to share you.”

“Well he doesn’t really have a choice. You’re not some pervert, you’re not a creep, you aren’t mean, you’ve seen him every time I’ve brought him to the doctors office. I just don’t understand why he doesn’t like you.” Stiles’ voice is shaky.

Scott wipes the last of the alfredo off his shirt before kneeling in front of Stiles. “Have you told him about us?”

He lets Scott pull his hands away from his face. “As much as you can tell a four year old.”

“He thinks you don’t want to be around him anymore.”

“He’s my son.”

“He’s four. Four year olds aren’t exactly known for their logic.” Scott kisses Stiles’ forehead before standing. “Lend me a shirt and let’s go talk to Liam.”

Imagine tiny!Liam being really super not into the idea of Scott dating his dad at first. He likes Scott as a nurse, he seemed really cool at the time, but then he went and started DATING his DAD, KISSING his dad, and, worst of all, CUDDLING his dad (bc excuse u Liam is the only one who gets to do that), and he does not like this, not at all, not one bit, no sir. And Stiles is constantly embarrassed by his son's behavior toward Scott.

Liam does not like sharing his Dad. Not even in the slightest and he makes it obvious very quickly. Stiles doesn’t even hear him come in. One moment he’s straddling Scott kissing him slow and deep and filthy. The next there’s a tap to his back and he’s jumping nearly out of his skin and falling onto the couch next to Scott. “Daddy, why are you giving away all my hugs?”

Stiles licks his lips and tries to look like he didn’t spend the last 30 minutes making out. “Aren’t you supposed to be sleep?”

“You didn’t give me my good night kiss so I woke up.”

“Well I can give you one later.” Stiles offers.

Liam shakes his head and crawls into the space between Stiles and Scott and curls into his father. “I don’t want one. I want to cuddle and for Nurse Scott to go home.” Stiles has never cringed so hard in his life.

Lets not even talk about the time Liam ‘accidentally’ peed on Scott’s back seats.

“You – you’re not Uncle Scott” she stammers, her eyes wide in shock and a hint of panic behind them, “Who are you? Where’s my uncle Scott? Daddy said Uncle Scott was home and -.”

She starts sobbing, and Derek freezes. What the hell do you do when a complete stranger walks into your apartment and starts crying? Especially if that complete stranger is a three year old girl?

“I think you got the wrong apartment?” he asks, swallowing and trying to figure out what he should do next.

“Lydia!” Dinner had been made and devoured, brownies were currently being decimated, and the kids were lumped into a puppy pile in front of the TV. Stiles finally had a minute to himself while they cuddled and got wholly enamoured with Brave for the billionth time, so of course he immediately shut himself in the bathroom and plastered his phone against his ear. “Lydia, oh my god—”

“Breathe, Stiles!” Thank god she could hear the elation in his voice, and didn’t freak out at his frantic greeting. “You’re going to have a stroke. It’s good news?”

“This better be fucking life-or-death, ballbag,” Jackson said from somewhere in the background.
