I bought my dream top and I’m obsessed w it
Not gonna lie, I’m not the best at mindful eating 🙈 I always have to remind myself to eat slower and enjoy each bite, not gulp it down! In addition for being a good reminder for adults, this nourishment cube is a great way to teach kids to enjoy their food and incorporate new ones into their diet, especially when paired with the book “Does Not Grow Say No” by Kerry Wekelo 🥑🍠🍎🍊

Time to queue up my playlist of the public domain digital archive while I pack. Watching 6hrs of grainy, straight-to-video Russian cartoons will surely be the way to make my peers find me accessible and likeable

JET.ME
Instagram meets COPPA-compliance
In a nutshell: Jet.me is a secure, ad-free social platform specifically for kids under the age of 13.
Launched: September 2016
How they caught our eye: We’re impressed that they are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), a federal law designed to protect kids online.
How they communicate their product solves a problem: Jet.me’s kid-friendly platform emphasizes online safety as their main priority.
How they made us believe: This startup raised $1 million in angel funding before launching.
The verdict: Many young kids join other social networks by lying about their age. Jet.me gives this group their own space where they can safely have fun and be themselves.
The Pout-Pout Fish
The Pout-Pout Fish written by Deborah Diesen and illustrated by Dan Hanna. First in a series. Pout-Pout fish thinks he's destined to be gloomy until an encounter with another fish makes him realize he's really a "Kiss-Kiss" fish. Lots of kids books are written in rhyme (thanks Dr. Seuss!). Lots of them suck at this, because they force rhymes and don't maintain a consistent rhythm. The Pout-Pout Fish does really well with both issues. I also like that it's fairly evenly split on gender for characters, and that he kisses all the animals (not just the girls). Cute book that provides a good excuse to kiss your toddler a lot. Could be used to help teach moods. Toddler and parent approved.
