My niece made two families with her Playmobil. One has two mommies and one has two daddies. One of the daddies wears a dress and one of the sons wears a dress, because "boys can wear dresses too." This is how kids should be raised.

Parenting goals

The type of parent I want to be is my mother, who one day I was talking to about my friend who had recently come out, and she goes in the most open unassuming way: "Honey, just so you know, your father and I would love your wife as much as we would love your husband." And how did my mother explain bisexuality to me when I was 10? "Bisexuality is something to truly be embraced. It is being in love with someone based on who they truly are as a person and not being biologically picky in regards to gender. Being able to be intimate with people of both sexes just opens even more doors leading to happiness." And I'm sitting here going I'm straight, I was blessed with the wrong parents. Wouldn't it be unbelievably wonderful if that poor boy who is terrified because he's in love with his male classmate had parents with the attitudes mine do? Absolutely. I would do anything to give that child, any child really, that respect. But my parents have taught me this for a reason. So that I can help set an example for acceptance despite lack of personal understanding. I will never know the hardships the LGTB community faces personally, but I will always show love and acceptance and attempt to squash those hardships out. And it wasn't truly until after 3 of my close friends have come out to me that I've realized I was blessed with the right parents and deserving of such amazing open minded and accepting attitudes. I am able to show such love and acceptance, that my parents would have shown to me, to my friends.

I went to an M&M store today and at the back of the store they have like a wall of all the colors and flavors of M&Ms. I was picking some out and a little boy and his parents walk up to the wall. 

Little Boy: I want pink, and purple, and red. 

Dad: You sure you don't want blue or green?

Little Boy: No. I want pink and purple and red. 

Dad: Alright. Let's get you pink and purple and red. 

Now, that's how you do it.

Parenting right

I remember awhile ago me and my friend went to the disney store and there was a little boy around 4-6 there with his dad and the little boy was looking at the stuffed princess dolls and was freaking out and so excited cause he loved the princesses and was showing his dad and the dad looked so happy with it and was showing him some of the princess dolls there and that right there is perfect cause the dad didn't give a damn about his little boy liking princess dolls. He saw how happy they made him and that was enough for him.

Favourite parents ever

A couple walked in with 4 kids and ordered coffees. The kids asked if they could have a drink and the parents said if they got fusions (our version of frappuccinos) the could only get tall and they all had to be the same kind. I could have hugged them
