I was wondering why my cousin doesn't have much friends, i mean. She's in her peak years when a girl wants to gossip and hangout with friends. So I asked my aunt, (in a nice way of course) "good thing Nicole doesn't go to malls and hangout" My aunt answered me, "Yeah, that's the thing im most proud of her, she doesn't need anyone, she's fine eating lunch alone, she hangs out at the library. And i really told her, she should choose good friends. Not the ones who're not studying and always playing" Then i realized, I am very fortunate to have parents like my mom and dad. They never told me to choose friends, they never told me some people are not good influence. They are just proud that I make friends, and i have so much. They don't question if they are too lazy, if they are the serious type. They're just contented with me being happy. I always thought my dad never trusted me. Well, at some points yes, but choosing friends, he never doubted ill choose wrong. My friends might be weird and assholes. But they're the ones who'd put up with my crazy things. Sometimes, being alone always, is bad. Everyone needs someone. And when choosing friends, its not based on their I.Q level, not based whether they're rich or poor, not based on the playing time they need each day. I am truly saddened that my cousin has to go through that phase, instead of enjoying and learning life itself. There will be bad friends that will come. But every bad friend, a good lesson is learned. In life, i know its hard, but for us to grow. We have to experience everything.
