Pargi the meek is an unusually thin and nervous troll from the game Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. DCSS is a free open source rougelike game that has been constantly updating since 1997. It's incredible and you should play it.

Anyway, back to Pargi. He is usually found in the sewers and is super weak and apparently lives in the sewers or the higher dungeon floors as a result of being bullied by other trolls.

Now, I would already just let Pargi ruin my run because of how endeared I am to him, but it gets better.

Very VERY rarely, Pargi will show up as Pargit the mighty, an unusually strong troll (I have never seen this.) And this is the in-game flavor text when you inspect Pargit. 👇

So basically Pargit will instantly fuck you up with his insanely strong claws, large rocks that he throws, and his astonishing +27 HP per turn regeneration.

I am sobbing. I love Pargi/Parghit so much. I will be making fan art of Pargi even though not a single soul on Earth loves this stupid, weak, bullied little sewer troll like I do.

I'm a grown ass adult, and something about this little troll has really done it to me. ;; Every dungeon run I do, I simply want to find Pargi. Winning is no longer the goal.

I fucking love when my pargi post gets a note because I know that person just searched pargi or dcss on tumblr and I was one of the 5 total posts. Also I feel such an incredible kinship with each and every one of you. I am so glad you also appreciate my horrible little blorbo who lives in the sewer. 💚

Parrot sneaks into PZE for something and Pangi notices him, but instead of immediately telling Zam and calling all the guards he offers to turn a blind eye to this. for a small payment of one kiss. (Parrot starts purposefully choosing time to sneak in for when it's Pangi's shift. first because it's simply less dangerous this way, he learnt Pangi isn't interested in getting him killed. but then. then Parrot starts coming into PZE simply to quickly visit Pangi and leave before someone else notices them)

yeah. parrot finds that pangi isnt a really a good pvper and actually avoids him in fights so he sneaks into the castle/empire whenever pangi is on shift. one day, pangi catches him and- the whole kiss thing was a joke. but parrot is like: "yk what. she's kinda cute." and gives her like- a small kiss on the cheek. but then realizes there's probably some actually feelings involved. and starts sneaking into the empire solely to see pangi.

maybe the other guards like pentar or sorhin or whatever see one of their.. exchanges. they confront pangi or they dont, because they know about pangi's little puppy crush on parrot and really dont find a problem with it- they just dont tell zam because they KNOW how zam feels about parrot and they KNOW how zam feels about pangi.

that post about pargi actually intrigued me. i don't really know much about ls but i watched Pangi's video about NPPP a while ago and. i don't exactly understand what happened here that could make anyone ship them? but im intrigued. and uu pargi??? do you mind. like. explaining. giving headcanons maybe? I'm trying to understand what their dynamic would be

so, basically, in season 4, pangi didnt exactly like parrot's whole n triple business, yeah? they fought a war over it, parrot moved pangi's entire house into the sky and then pangi moved it all the way underground i think and then finally parrot moved pangi's base into the end where he finally got her into the void, killing her. nothing really big or major lol pangi has a video on it, its really cool you should watch itm i should rewatch it. nothing really ship worthy i jsut thought it was funny

in seaspn 5, it mostly because of the wedding. basically, ash and parrot made a joke tweet about how if they weren't verified in a year, they'd get married. pangi saw it, recruited 4c and they made the lifesteal yaoi wedding!!!! i just thought "lol they're already teammates in law (mapicc being parrot's teammate and zam being pangi's. and mapicc and zam being Devotion Duo), what if. what if parrot fell for the wedding planner instead lol" i could say the same about ash but like. squidswag is cute and stuff and ik they're fine with their characters being shipped but honestly im fine with squidswag and pargi

i still need to think a lot on uu pargi, but i imagine that they never fully. like. got into a relationship. mostly because of zam being overprotective of (falling in love with) pangi and not wanting parrot near him, but also because pangi is NOT good at expressing his feelings into words very well so he wouldn't really know when or how to confess to parrot before it was too late.

but, if they ever DID get into a relationship, i imagine its pretty similar to darling duo/chufies?? except. less freaky. because chufies are lowkey freakmasters im not gonna lie (but still mayne a little freaky. considering. woah. those are the two other people they queerbait with). but in the beginning of their relationship, its really awkward because neither of them are good at ANYTHING relationship or feelings wise because they are BUMS. amd then as they slowly get into the flow of things, its like. woahh!! we dont have to constantly remind each other of our love for them!! and they'll be very communicative because surprisingly i feel like both of them are really good at that and setting boundaries and stuff

idk its a crackship, there wasnt much of a. thought process behind them

Zam walks down into his treasury in the morning to get something/check up on stuff. there are wemmfies casually making out in the center of room. Zam rolls his eyes and ignores them (Wemmbu always appears and disappears in random places and random moments & Zam doesn't care about Wifies being here, as long as he's not with Parrot and not touching anything. so he doesn't care.)

in the evening (let's say it's time of Pangi's shift) Zam goes to treasury again. instead of guarding treasury from Parrot, Pangi is here with Parrot on his laps

zam is so fucking done with their shit oh my god 😭😭😭😭

like, he's chill with wemmbu being with wifies- he doesnt care about wifies and keeps wemmbu at arms length at best. but, pangi- HIS RIGHT HAND MAN- with PARROT- THE GUY HE HATES??? thats like. thats traitor behavior to him.. (bonus little thought: zam has a crush on pangi and purposefully make parrot a kill on sight for the guards because he wants pangi to himself WHAT)
