maybe it was the mask, that so briefly looked sharper in the blur, that made her so quickly take a few steps back. that caused her breathing to heave for only a moment, but a moment too long. a flash of walls all around her, of long bird masks, beaks the only thing she could see. a thin layer of water glazed over her eyes, though she quickly looked to side, avoiding eye contact. to calm herself down, this wasn't them, not any of them, not him.

she took a gulp of air, she was starting to not want to talk to this one. she wanted to meet all of the teachers, it was encouraged to help her be more social...! but something about this, it made her want to shut her eyes, and never open them back up.

voice as quiet as a wandering mouse, never wishing to be caught. it was hard to understand, perhaps she was hoping that he wouldn't even notice so she could run back to someone more comfortable. tell mister aizawa that she wasn't ready yet, or as lemillion-san to help her. eri took another gulp of air, then waved her little hand, trying to greet, even if she kept her eyes to the side, barely seeing him in her peripherals.

eri stared back. no, she wasn't supposed to be there right now, but she wasn't going to say that. she wasn't going to say anything. whoever was supposed to be watching her was doing a terrible job, having wandered right past them at one point--she was pretty sure they had fallen asleep as soon as eri had 'convincingly' fell asleep too. then she quickly--but, more importantly, quietly--ran out of the room.

eri looked around, then took the smallest step back. she didn't know the route yet, to outside the shie hassaikai compound. it was too confusing...! and people noticed quickly when she had 'disappeared.'

" p-please don't tell anyone. " a squeak, quiet and barely loud enough for the bullet to hear her.
