The Art Nouveau stained-glass dome over the main restaurant at Printemps department store on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris was added in 1923 during reconstruction of the building following a fire. In 1939 the dome was dismantled and put into storage to prevent it from being damaged by bombing attacks during World War II.

The Fontaine du Palmier on Place du Châtelet in Paris was built in 1806 as a memorial to battles won by the French armies. The sphinxes on the base were added in 1858 to honor Napoleon’s victory in Egypt. The gilded statue at the top is Victory holding laurel wreaths.
This (dry) fountain is very popular with Parisian pigeons.

Answer: they all lived here at Place Vosges, in my opinion, the prettiest square in Paris. It is ringed with 36 redbrick-and-stone houses—nine on each side, a salute to early urban planning.
