Since the Academy is the only story I’ve really talked a bit about on here and it’s the one with the most development, I’ll be focusing on it.

So, while procrastinating writing (again), I decided to mess around with creating a cover concept for The Academy

and I came up with these

Nick: *leaning over to Kieran, whispering* You’re gay

Kieran: *leaning over to Nick, whispering back* I know that

Nick: Gay for Paris? *wiggles eyebrows*

Kieran: *thinking about it, before realizing that yeah, he is gay for Paris*

Kieran: *whispering* I didn’t know that

Paris: It’s hard being roommates with Nick and Jackie sometimes but they’re my best friends and-

Nick: *in the background* Uhh, Paris!! Jackie and I tried to make ramen in the coffee pot and we broke EVERYTHING

Paris: *inhales*

Paris and Kieran: *spinning a little and talking*

Nick and Elaine: *whip past at lightning speed, both screaming*

Kieran: That could be us.

Paris: No.

Kieran: Paris, I’m so happy I could kiss you!

Paris: *nervous gay laugher* Um…………neat!

Paris: *laying face down on his bed* I can’t believe I said ‘neat,’ Nick. ‘Neat.’ Nobody says ‘neat’ anymore! It’s the goddamn 21st century! It’s not neat to say neat but I said it anyway because I’m a bloody loser!

Nick: *idly turns the page of their magazine* Hey, don’t beat yourself up. Everyone gets nervous sometimes. Remember what happened when Elaine confessed to me?

Paris: Didn’t you, like, thank her?

Nick: *closes magazine to stare at ceiling* I thanked her.
