PARIS BLACK PRIDE SHOWCASE + IMMANI LOVE PERFORMANCE - - July 15th, 2017 - To use your voice is not just to speak but to speak through song, poetry, music, and all performance in-between. This is why Paris Black Pride has decided to set up an open mic night, reserved for LGBTQ artists (both professional and amateur) in order to have a voice in a culture that often denies us spaces for expression. Welcome to all, this concert aspires to bring to the stage any person who identifies as queer, transgender, bisexual, lesbian and gay (e.g. singers, musicians, dancer, poets, etc.) in an evening of unity and celebration. Don’t hesitate to contact us to sign up as a performer to hit the stage. Again this year, Black American singer Immani Love from the LGBTQ scene in Orlando (Florida)—an even stronger activist since the homophobic attacks at Pulse nightclub—opens the show with poems advocating tolerance, but not without a bit of poetic eroticism. Place: Très Honoré Bar (35 place du Marché Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris) Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm Cost: 5 euros (Free for artists). #ParisBlackPride #Paris #RainbowTour #openmic #performance #poetry #music #unity #LGBTQ #POC #weekend #QueenKeysh #AutumnBlaze #ImmaniLove (at Très Honoré restaurant, bar, salon)
