Oops I guess I should have set my alarm, slept for 13 hours. Oh well on the bright side it's 5 o'clock somewhere! 🥖🧀🍷 7 days until #parismarathon (at Place des Abbesses)

Paris Marathon. Anmeldung, Erfahrungen von der Strecke und die Ergebnisse
Nate and I have been working together towards his @parismarathon for weeks now we were trying to figure why we was struggling to hit his target paces - now we know. If you have an @apple Watch, please make sure it’s NOT set to “Treadmill” running or your paces will be off 😂 🙋♂️Sidebar: do you prefer in-person or virtual coaching for your upcoming race? _ #funnyrunningstories #notfunny #whatthehellnate #parismarathon (at Marathon de Paris) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoseWMIOPC_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Lessons from the Champ himself: ~But it might~ “Rome, we can get a strawberry milkshake, but the ice cream store might not be open, ok?” “But it might be!” *Ice cream store was open* In the car: “Mom, can I watch trucks on my iPad?” “You can try, but it might not work because there is no WiFi…” “But it might work!!!” *He tries, it connects to my hot spot* “See, mom! It does work!” I don’t know where this came from, but his unwavering belief in “but it might” has come out the past few months and I love it. So far, he’s often gotten what he wants because he trusted in “it might” rather than me telling him it won’t work without even trying. Ooof - how relatable to life is that!? So as I head to the start line of the #ParisMarathon tomorrow, having had an incredible training schedule only to walk into a sharp corner and injure my quad 10 days ago 😭😭, what could be my best race ever, could also be my worst race ever… All I’m hoping for is a pain free (ha haha, correction, it’s a marathon after all) er, a “minimal pain” run. Will it be a good run? I don’t know… BUT IT MIGHT!! The 10 disciplines and principles I teach in my programs have helped me not only trust in the process this training “plan” but enjoy it. You can apply these principles to all areas of life, so I’m going to share how you can apply then to, for example, running a marathon! https://www.instagram.com/p/Cb1vEKsBdxj/?utm_medium=tumblr
