On Parking Day the student chapter of the ASLA Arkansas at the Department of Landscape Architecture installed their permanent parklet in the City of Fayetteville as part of their national tactical urbanism grant. Additionally there were two more parklets adjacent to it as well as a slew of electric cars as you can see by the Tesla across the street. The Mayor came and had a speech and a good time was had by all seeing a glimpse of a more sustainable future for our streets! #parkingday #parkingday2017 #parkingdayla (at Fayetteville, Arkansas)
