1. Which book would you consider the best book you’ve ever read and why?

Oh man, that’s hard! I guess I’ll go with one of the “classics” - I’m German, so the klischee best German classic book IMO is “Faust” by Goethe. It has so many layers and so many themes and motifs and it’s just so good. I remember reading it and being Holy Fuck, this feels like the basis of all German literature!

9. Are you for or against multiple narrators in the same book?

I’m all for it as long as they have distinctive voices. I like having insight in a variety of characters and thoughts.

16. What’s your favourite of Shakespeare’s plays? 

Macbeth, hands down.  The storyline, the inner turmoil, the apparitions. Macbeth all the way.

Queen piece: If you had to get an AFTG tattoo (or another one, if you already have) what would you get and where?

I mean, I wouldn't mind a crown, but I don't have the same big ego as Kevin so I think I'll pass.

I think I'll go with something more subtle because I'm not big on themed tattoos, so maybe a stylized Trident because that's the symbol of the Maserati and my lucky number is 3. (Also reminds me of Finnick in Hunger Games 😢)

2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

omg. i feel like i don’t read enough fiction for this to apply to me.. but I love when authors are able to accurately describe/capture the little idiosyncrasies and feelings that you know exist but aren’t sure how to articulate. it’s stuff i think about and gives the work an emotional truth that resonates w/ me. i’d say Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche is really good at this (and i wish I felt motivated enough to find an example but. you’ll just have to interpret what i mean by this lmao)

5. do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

jfkdfjkd this fucking question. my identity rn is definitely very tied to the things i do, like being a student, an artist, a friend, what have you. it’s honestly hard for me to think of who i am outside of that, because after you take away the things a person does, i guess all you’d have left are their thoughts and emotions?? and i definitely feel like i’m more than that, but i’m sure other people identify more strongly with the “what” of who they are rather than the “how” i suppose
