New year's ask~ 11, 16, 34! c:

11: What’s the strangest thing that happened to you in 2014?

Montréal, St Patrick’s Day, I had started drinking (milk and baileys, then OJ and rum) at 10am. Them roommates, friends and I went to a party at noon where everyone was drunk/high and there was nothing but beer. I don’t like beer, so I was sober (and incredibly bored) until a friend arrived with a small bottle of bourbon. 6 huge gulps later I was Frenching a friend named Patrick (eheheh) and not walking straight (I’m a fairly petite girl and I can’t hold my liquor).

My friends and I walked to a frat party at McGill’s, and on the way I had a .5 second blackout that made me fall on my knees in the middle of the street (and it was barely 3.30pm, and if my head had dropped 5 inches lower and I could have broken my nose on the pavement). My two knees were black for a whole month.

I left the party after around 20min because I didn’t know anybody (I didn’t study at McGill but my roomies were), I went home, took a nap, woke up at 7pm with my first (and very light) hangover. Promised myself to not do that again (until next time).

16: Who’s the coolest person you met in 2014?

Close tie between drinkbloodlikewine (twice in NYC) and Mads Mikkelsen (twice in Paris). <3333333

PS: I forgot! There's also his Highness Corey Taylor, singer of my heart and one of my biggest crush of the year.

34: Did 2014 meet your expectations?

Somewhere between not really and not at all on a lot of points. My internship was utter crap, I quit after 3 months when I should have stayed 6. It was that bad.

My semester abroad in Montréal wasn’t great intellectually either, but my boredom made me create a tumblr blog, so it’s not that bad.

My family… bleh, I’d rather not talk about it.

On the other hand, I made great friends and met amazing people (I’m not just talking about Mads). All in all, 2014 wasn’t great and I hope 2015 will be better. However, I think my big year will be late 2016/2017, because I’m graduating and shit will get serious.

I like the way you guys think. I had too many cookies today (yes this is a thing, when I'm frustrated and/or stressed I DON'T eat) so I'm gonna gif Nigel while listening to jazz and then watch Constantine (and maybe sneak a cookie or two, mmkay)
